Welcome to The Breyting Airbnb, a cozy modern suite with its own private entrance, completely locked off from the main house. You simply can't beat the location—within walking distance of the lively restaurants, shops, and activities that this award-winning historic downtown has to offer. Walking Distances: - Stetson University: 2 minutes (430 ft) - Downtown DeLand: 4 minutes (0.2 miles) - Athens Theatre: 7 minutes (0.3 miles) - Café Da Vinci (concerts): 11 minutes (0.5 miles) The space The Suite - Includes a private entrance and bathroom. - Room & bathroom are completely locked off from the main house for privacy. - Bedding is COYUCHI, and the sheets are made from organic cotton. - Soaps are natural. - Bed is a king-size mattress (eco-friendly). - Coffee is Breyting, roasted onsite, complete with a Hario pour-over station—perfect for coffee enthusiasts. - A wide selection of teas is available in the dresser (left side, 2nd drawer). - Decor is modern boho, highlighted by mid-century furniture, polished concrete floors, a large wool rug, artist-crafted lighting, with block prints and skateboard art from our favorite artists. The property This unique live-work studio home was built by beloved local artist Larry Griffin, who used it as his studio, art gallery, and residence. Today, Breyting continues to utilize the space for curating art and fostering creativity through its innovative design studio, craft coffee roastery, Zen Garden, and Airbnb suite. Got a trailer or recreational toys? You can park your boat trailer, bike hauler, kayak, paddleboard trailer, or any fun toys in our parking lot. Guest access Our guests are welcome to enjoy the private space of the suite, which includes a large bedroom, bathroom and small connecting hallway. In addition, the Zen garden is a relaxing place that can add to the experience.
