Welcome to the Steam Gardens Spa Yurt, your private hot tub yurt oasis in a beautiful forest setting with spectacular views of Mt. Index and Bridal Veil Falls! We are located on a private 32-acre piece of forest property with ongoing building projects and collaborations with local artists. Parts of the Spa Yurt retreat space are still works in progress but all pictures are up to date. Your retreat includes: - Yurt with queen bed, futon bed, bathrobes, slippers, coffee cabinet and outdside deck - Private outdoor area with seating, fire pit, gas grill, and amazing views of Mt. Index - Outdoor wood-fired hot tub great for 2-3 people - Showerhouse with vintage brass tub - Outhouse with composting toilet - Outdoor farmhouse-style sink with microwave You have full access to the spa yurt, adjoining showerhouse, outdoor composting toilet, outdoor farmhouse sink, and outdoor flat grassy area including the grill, firepit, and wood-fired hot tub. A second yurt is located nearby and can be arranged separately. NOTE: Between Nov.-March 4WD or AWD required! Sudden changes in weather and snowfall could make our access road impassable during the Jan+ Feb. months. During this time we allow guests to snowshoe or hike up. our driveway is a private forest gravel road about less than 1/4 mile, but with 350 ft elevation gain. Snowshoes available upon request (limited to availability.) You will either be met by your host at the property gate or given key less entry. We try to be as invisible as possible. You will be left alone in the privacy of nature to cook, spa, grill and relax. However we will be in our own cabin onsite or in the Art Barn on call should you need any assistance from us. Our goal is to create the feel of being alone in nature and relaxed, but not alone in the wilderness where it can seem scary or spacious to someone not used to it. We offer clothing optional bathing. If you need to borrow a camp stove, cookware and solo stove available upon request. Vehicle Required. Airport Pick Up and shuttle service to/from Stevens Pass available for extra charge. (Note: Between Nov.-March there may be snow on the access road. You will be required a 4W drive vehicle to access the property and/or must be able bodied since you may need to hike a short distance to the Yurts from our winter parking turnout. Hot Tubs/ fire pit to Yurt distance is roughly 60-80 ft. Please note: -this listing is clothing optional and an additional yurt can be rented out if you would like more space. -there is a $55 add on fee per pet.
