Welcome to The Cozy Modern Basecamp - our totally chic relaxation themed walk-out at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. At 550 square feet, you'll enjoy the regular luxuries in a small package without sacrificing comfort! This is the perfect space for a couples getaway, connecting with friends, or mixing a work trip with some outdoor adventures. The space Our newly renovated walk-out apartment is well-appointed and located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with excellent amenities. While only 550 square feet, the open, natural light-filled space will make you feel like you're living large. It's small but mighty. Looking to work from home? There are two comfortable workspaces located in separate rooms and speedy internet. We're also just 20 minutes from Silicone Slopes and downtown SLC. Looking to NOT work from home? It's hard to imagine a better location. Two turns and 20 minutes will get you to Alta/Snowbird and 30-45 minutes from 5 other world-class resorts. Nestled at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon, you'll find great amenities and fantastic hiking, biking, climbing, snow activities, trail running, or beautiful strolling nearby. The space is furnished with one king-size bed, with an organic Avocado Mattress in the large bedroom, and a queen-size memory foam sleeper sofa in the living room. The optimal number of guests would be 1-3 people. Four people can work if you are willing to squeeze a bit. Please keep in mind; it's a one-bedroom. So if privacy is important to you, there may be better fits for your 4-person group. The kitchen holds all the modern comforts. An induction range and convection oven/ microwave combo are ready for your heating needs, and cleanup is a breeze with a large farmhouse sink and dishwasher. Multiple ways to brew your coffee include: *A gorgeous Mocamaster drip machine. *A Keurig for those looking for simplicity. You'll also find many other modern conveniences to make your stay easy. For example, a bespoke wall-mounted kitchen table is great for dining and a second workspace. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a 55-inch TV. Access your Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube by logging into your accounts via Roku. In terms of amenities, we have you covered there too. You'll have access to small, essential things like a blow dryer, towels, soaps/body wash, shampoo/conditioner, iron, an in-unit washer and dryer, and more. Guest access You will have full access to the unit through a private entrance on the west side of the main house. Easy street parking just a few steps away from the entrance to the property. Access includes using the fire pit area, ski/snowboard storage rack, and back garden (with fresh veggies and herbs in season). Guests are assigned an independent, secure passcode for keyless entry and easy check-in. Other things to note We pay a living wage for our cleaner = $40/hr x 1.75 hour for one person to deep clean = $70 cleaning fee The house is equipped with two exterior cameras to maintain a secure premise. However, the cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. Lastly, we live upstairs, and you may hear us walking around or see us in the garden. We always try to be extra thoughtful of walking over your space late at night or early in the morning. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
