Tastefully furnished bungalow equipped with a sauna and hottub in a wooded setting. Here you can unwind and enjoy the luxury the cottage has to offer. We warmly welcome you to our Nature Lodge. You can optionally book the hottub and Finnish sauna; more info under WELLNESS below. The space ENTRY The Nature Lodge features various rooms, including 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. The cozy and somewhat quirky layout immediately gives you the feeling of getting away from it all. Almost every room in the house offers views of the beautiful nature, creating a spacious and calming atmosphere. PHILIPS HUE LIGHTING All lighting in and around the Nature Lodge is from Hue. Easy to operate and providing the right lighting atmosphere for every setting. Never heard of it? No problem; our brochure describes exactly how to control this lighting. SLEEPING Two spacious bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size box spring bed (including a 160x210cm topper), making the Nature Lodge ideal for 2 to 4 people. It can accommodate six people, but then 2 people will sleep in the pull-out bed (80/160x200cm) in the third bedroom. All beds are equipped with a single duvet with pillow, duvet cover, and fitted sheet. The queen-size beds are equipped with a reading lamp with a USB port for charging your phone. BATHROOM The bathroom is practically and stylishly furnished and features both a standard and a rain shower. A hairdryer is provided. Each guest receives a towel and bath sheet. We recommend bringing flip-flops. KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (a capsule for a first cup of coffee or tea is provided), and many other appliances; these are listed under amenities. Tea towels, hand towels, and dishcloths are provided, as well as a dish brush and dishwashing liquid. OUTSIDE The two sliding doors allow you to go outside from different sides of the Nature Lodge. TEAHOUSE Enjoy reading a book or having a pleasant chat while enjoying a cup of tea or wine. Our Teahouse is perfect for this. If it gets a bit chilly, the infrared heating ensures a comfortable warmth. PRIVATE GARDEN / WELLNESS (optional) We have created a private garden that gives you access to the delightful wellness area. Thanks to a bamboo screen and a retractable screen, you can enjoy the following undisturbed: - Finnish sauna offering a spectacular view of the forest through the privacy glass. We have already prepared 4 delightful infusion fragrances. - Outdoor shower and bucket shower, also wonderful for rinsing off on a hot summer day (closed from the first night frost through April). - Wood-fired hottub. If you wish to add the wellness package to your booking, this is only possible for the entire duration of your stay. We charge 60 euros per night for 2 people and 75 euros per night for 3 to 6 people. The package consists of bathrobes, sauna towels, wood, 4 delightful infusion fragrances for the sauna, and the hottub is filled with fresh, clean water. LARGE GARDEN Adjacent to the private garden lies the large garden with no fewer than 4 terraces. This makes it possible to catch some sunbeams at any time of day or find a cool spot in the shade. The trees are ideally suited for the use of hammocks. These can be used freely. The many different birds love to sing a beautiful tune. That is delightful, because otherwise there is little to no ambient noise. The house is situated on the edge of the park, frequented only by cyclists, athletes, and walkers. Occasionally, the park ranger drives past. SPECIAL FEATURES The Lodge is decorated in a Christmas theme from the first of Advent through the first week of January. In the months of July and August (high season), the minimum stay is 3 nights, with check-in possible on any available day of the week. Guest access At our Lodge, we use the Salto KS smart door lock. This allows you to easily open the door with your smartphone, without a physical key. Other things to note PETS NOT ALLOWED We want to keep our Nature Lodge pet-free so that ‘wet dog smells’, droppings in the garden, and allergies are not an issue for our guests. OPEN FIRES NOT ALLOWED OUTSIDE We know that a fire represents coziness and warmth, but unfortunately, we cannot offer this outside. If even a single spark lands anywhere, it can have major consequences for the entire park, and we do not want that. Of course, you are welcome to use the fireplace inside. SMOKING NOT ALLOWED INDOORS But outside is no problem; just please use the ashtray. GOURMET COOKING NOT ALLOWED To avoid being in the cooking smells of previous tenants, gourmet cooking, fondue, air frying, and deep frying are not permitted. PARK RULES It is lovely to listen to music, but please be considerate of the neighbors. After 10:00 PM, it must be completely quiet outside.
