Delightful garden ensuite w/firepit near Wodonga

Relax with a glass of wine and toast marshmallows over your private fire-pit while you watch the local parrots and kangaroos. Say hello to our friendly Border Collie as you stroll through the gorgeous garden of perennials, native and permaculture vegetables. Explore local walking and cycle trails, or take a short drive to picturesque Yackandandah and Beechworth. Wodonga is only 9 mins away with many superb restaurants, or visit our local IGA supermarket. Generous continental breakfast provided. The space We have a modern 4BR brick veneer home on a quiet corner block facing a bushland reserve in Baranduda, a suburb of Wodonga. The spacious master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, walk in wardrobe and part of the hallway have been converted into an Airbnb space with private entrance and locks. Your bedroom has a dining table with 2 chairs, with a floor lamp to enable use as a workspace, with 53mbps Wifi speed. There is a 2 seater couch for your comfort. In the hallway we have provided a kitchenette with microwave, bar fridge, toaster, kettle and kitchen equipment so you can prepare simple meals. Unfortunately we do not cater for infants or children. There is an IGA supermarket, take away store, coffee van and heated pool within easy walking distance of our property. Guest access You will have exclusive access to your space through the front door (key is in a key safe attached to the letter box). Our private visitors (we don't have many!) will go around via the back during your visit, or we will come around to greet them. The lovely house garden (front section only) is available for access to guests from 9am - 5:00pm through a side gate. We ask that you please keep this gate closed to ensure that our beloved Spoodle, Benji does not escape! If required we are able to shut Benji around in the back garden while you visit the front garden. We have 2 outside seating areas for guests - one with a small table and chairs, the other with a garden bench seat and firepit. You do not have to enter the house garden to access either of these spaces, so you are welcome to enjoy them at any time during your stay. During your stay We live on the premises but you have your own private entrance and we will respect your privacy. We usually greet you on arrival, then after that you are free to decide how much interaction with us you would like. Our bedroom is at the opposite end of the house to yours. We are more than happy to assist with any questions or local information, and can be contacted by phone call or text. Other things to note The bushland reserve is home to a mob of approx. 30 kangaroos, which can often be viewed in the open grassland areas of an evening. We also have 2 bird feeders on the property (one outside your bedroom window!) which routinely attract king parrots, galahs, pigeons and rosellas. Please Note: There is no sink for dishwashing in the kitchenette. so we are happy to do your dishes for you! We have provided a tub in which dirty dishes can be placed - we will collect and return this each day. You are welcome to use the ensuite handbasin to rinse or wash lightly soiled dishes if you wish. We do have very fast WiFi (53mbps) so access to streaming services or YouTube is available through the television, and you will have access to our Netflix account. Most dietary needs can be catered for by request with advance notice - please let us know when you book.
