Escape to this exclusive four-star self catering getaway close to Nelspruit and the Kruger National Park. Our spacious home is suitable for family or group stays. There is a stunning swimming pool, boma, nature walks, trampoline and braais on the property. This five bedroom house comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with ample spacious open areas. We are only a 30 min drive to the Kruger National Park, one hour drive to Mozambique and Panorama Route and 25 min from Nelspruit town. The space What you will get: -BEDROOMS- There are four bedrooms on the first floor with an easy staircase and two bedrooms on the ground floor. Swallow's Nest Master bedroom: Honeymoon/luxury suite with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower). Queen size bed and a huge veranda looking out on the pool and mountains. This room also has a small single bed ideal for a young child. Comes with a mutichannel smart TV and air-conditioning. Night Jar: Two single beds with en-suite bathroom (shower). Access to the balcony and views of the gardens and surrounding landscapes. Cuckoo's Nest: Queen size bed, views of the pool, garden and mountains. Shares a bathroom with Loerie's Call which is the next door room. The bathroom has a shower and bath with shower head. Loerie's Call: Queen size bed with spacious cupboards and views of the garden. Shares a bathroom with Cuckoo's Nest. Kingfisher: Queen size bed with en-suite bathroom located on the ground floor. Closest to the kitchen and entrance. It also has a TV and mini fridge. Situated on the ground floor with a view of the garden. Plum Starling: Three single beds with en suite bathroom. Shower over bath. This spacious room has an outside entrance. -KITCHEN- A fully equipped kitchen with a scullery, stove, microwave, fridge and freezer, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans and coffee on the house. -LIVING ROOMS- Two living rooms and one dining room with en-suite communal toilet/basin are accessible to guests. There is a bookshelf, board games, dartboard and piano (to always be respected) for entertainment. - BRAAI AREA- The house's huge veranda has a built-in braai and basin with a 6 seater antique dining table (to always be respected). For the more adventurous traveller, there is a large boma outside the house for a real bushveld bonfire and braai! Packaged wood available at R50 and ice at R30. The lookout point is linked to the boma and is perfect for a sundowner and bird watching. There is a pair of decent binoculars available for your use. -WIFI- Guest Wifi is available in most places throughout the huge house. -SWIMMING POOL- The pool will be available 24 hours a day to booked guests only. Kindly request for swimming towels. -PETS- Our three resident Border Collies are well mannered and will only ask for attention when you're in possession of a ball or stick. They also like to take guests on the nature walk. The dogs are extremely child friendly and not allowed inside the House. Joseph, Nadia and Bibi enjoy playing fetch around the swimming pool but they won't bother you if you do not want them around. - NATURE WALK- What is a getaway without a walk in nature? We have a 2.4km hiking and mountain bike trail on the property, meandering through pristine bush and the Kiaat forest and ending at a rock pool. - CRICKET- Enjoy some Collie Cricket with the dogs! - TRAMPOLINE- Any extra large trampoline on the front lawn for use by children only. -TRAIL- The 2.4km nature trail is open for guests to do trail running or mountain biking. Guest access The complete four-star Holiday House is available to book as one unit and guests will have access to all the facilities such as the swimming pool, kitchen, braai area, nature walk, living rooms, boma, trampoline and lookout point. Other things to note Bring your own mountain bike, swimming gear, hiking shoes, and play balls. There is a mtb/hiking trail, trampoline and stunning swimming pool - all free to use by guests.
