Farm Life At The Written House, by Lake and Creek

Located in Wilson, New York, USA. Escape to this rustic country home, close to Lake Ontario and a Creek. We have ducks, chickens and roosters right in the yard and one miniature piggie Sweet Baby Ray that sleeps with the chickens that can be fed! This property include a quarter acre island surrounded by 12-Mile Creek, the best private trout and salmon spawning. We have the only private section of land not open to the public on the Creek. The space This house was restored with reclaimed barn wood ont eh floors, and walls, a custom black walnut countertop, reclaimed lumber walls, custom made window shutters. We still have some minor updates here and there we are working on to continuously improve the house for our guests! The half bathroom is HUGE and has a double sink and toilet. There is enough room if someone wanted to put the cots in there for extra guests! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you should need to make some meals. Nature wildlife frequent the grounds including deer, fox, pheasants, coyote, rabbits, geese and so many beautiful birds. This property also has direct access to 500 acres of state property for hiking, trail riding, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. It takes less than 3 minutes to drive to access Lake Ontario to launch your boat or enjoy a gorgeous sunset. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, except for the basement. The door in the kitchen is not to be used, or the large green door to the basement from the back of the house. The garage adjacent to the house is not to be entered. You can go to the back where the piggies are, and check out the chicken coop. Take your ATV etc. to the creek no prob at all! Other things to note We are located in farm country which can mean farm smells from fertilizers manure and animals in the air. The farm animals also frequent the yard so mind your step as there may be animal droppings! We have landscapers that come every Thursday to cut the lawn, but between those times a pricker bush may pop up, we suggest always wearing sandals!
