Our country home, "The Great Escape" is situated at an hours drive from Islamabad and is right in the heart of the Gandhara region with easy access to various UNESCO heritage sites. It has huge lawns, a natural stream, outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi. The space It has two good sized bedrooms and a huge, multipurpose hall, loft library, an outdoor kitchen, a huge wrap around veranda, central heating/ cooling and back up generator. It has all the conveniences of modern life while retaining the rustic structure of the house. Guest access By private car / van exiting from Grand Trunk Road on to Khanpur Dam Road. By train to Taxila Station from where you can rent local transport to Nikra Pump and then turn right. Other things to note Farm fresh food is available from the local market which is only 10 minutes walking distance. BBQ facility and tandoor is available. There is a full time staff at the house for taking care of the guests. Internet facility is not available.
