Vacation home in Toronto

Guests will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. 8min walking distance to the subway, easy access to streetcars and buses, in a family-friendly residential neighbourhood. Situated near several parks (splashpads, skating rink, public pools), bike paths, 10min drive to the beach, 10min subway ride to Yonge/Bloor, walking distance to a plethora of restaurants, coffee shops and local retailers (Danforth/Greektown, Riverdale, Leslieville, Beaches, Little India). The space We have a well-appointed, walk-out basement suite, outfitted with all the necessities to help our guests feel comfortable during their stay. The suite has high ceilings (over 8ft), with 2 very large windows bringing in lots of natural light. There is a well-lit private entrance at the back of the house. We live in the upper portion of the house, so if there is anything you need during your stay, we can often meet this request immediately. We also have a spirited 4 year old, who does his best to be quieter when we have guests, but be forewarned, we are generally up and about between 7-8am. The ceiling of the basement suite is soundproofed, but some noise will travel. Guests are also welcome to enjoy our backyard patio during the warmer season. Guest access The suite is fully private and self-contained, with access to your own bathroom, living/dining rooms, and fully equipped kitchen. Other things to note OVERNIGHT PARKING: Free street parking is easy to find on both Strathcona Avenue and Jones Avenue during the day. Temporary On-Street Parking Permits can be purchased through the City of Toronto website for overnight parking (12am-7am). Approximate overnight parking costs are as follows: 24hrs - $16 48hrs - $25 1 week - $38 GETTING TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT: Guests can either use an Uber/Taxi, or use the UP Express, which connects to both Union and Bloor Subway Stations. From there, you can take the subway to Pape Station - about an 8-10min walk from our house. Buses are also available from the Station, which can drop you a little closer to the house. GO Bus/Train: The relatively affordable GO connects Toronto to surrounding cities, like Burlington, Hamilton, Mississauga, Brampton; and major attractions like Niagara Falls, Wonderland, the Toronto Zoo, and The EX!
