The Coast House - water and beach riiight outside

Wonderful vacation house situated a stone's throw from the water and the beach. Literally speaking! Here you can wake up to the gentle sound of the waves, almost calling your name, if you feel for a morning swim. On warm days, you can enjoy meals on the terrace most suitable to enjoy both the morning sun and also a beautiful view to the sunset. The high roof inside creates a good and spacious feeling making it easy for family and friends to enjoy life together during all times of the year. The space Besides two bedrooms there is a living room in connection with the kitchen and dining area from where you have access to the terrace. In the new kitchen from 2023 extra kitchen table space has been in focus, in order that guests can easily co-create the meals without getting in eachothers’ way. Parents travelling with small children appreciate the possibility to borrow baby equipment such as a high chair, a pack and play bed (120 x 60 cm), changing pillow etc. Having the sea and beach right outside furthermore underlines the children friendly atmosphere of the house. The extensive, green surroundings invite to both sunbathing and playing outside. In the area there are approx. 80 other houses that were originally built by Dansk Folkeferie (Danish People's Vacation Organization), where the idea was to offer guests a holiday stay in a superb location. In 2007 the houses were put for sale and now have individual private owners. Guest access Guests have their own house with terraces all the way round, one of which is roofed and bigger than the other ones. In the area, there are big common grounds with a foot ball field, volley ball court, a playground and minigolf. In addition, there is a cosy café with a beautiful location close to the ocean, which is open during the season. In addition, guests of the house have access to the facilities of Kysthusene: fitness room, sauna, jacuzzi, activity room as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools. The latter is open June, July and August. Other things to note In the house there are duvets and pillows. If you prefer not having to bring your own bedlinen and towels along, this can be supplied to you at DKK 115 per person, which also includes kitchen and dish towels. Consumption of water is included i the rental rate, whereas usage of electricity will be settled after your stay based on the numbers on the power meter noted down right after arrival and just before departure. The price is market price, which at the moment is DKK 3.75 per kWh of power. Depending on the outside temperature, and whether you prefer e.g. 19 or 23 degrees Celsius inside, you should count on an extra DKK 100-175 per day for heating of all room during the coldest months (December, January and February). In the main area (living room and kitchen) there is a heat pump, which is a more power saving heating source than the electric panels in the bedrooms and bathroom.
