Welcome to The Hideaway at Sandysike On The Wall where you can reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape situated in just under 1 acre of private woodland on a working Cumbrian farm. This eco-friendly home has all the necessities you need for the perfect getaway. Surrounded by nature keep a eye out for wildlife including deer, squirrels, rabbits countless birds and of course our own cattle and sheep. Ramble through your own private wood gathering berries or just observing nature. The space This off grid, eco-friendly property has a cosy and welcoming feel and a large outside space which is solely for your use during your stay. If you want to escape the city, get back to nature to relax and unwind then this is the place for you. This tiny house is packed with little quirks to enhance your stay and make it memorable! The property does not have access to mains electricity and is powered solely by solar - there are two large panels and a battery bank ensuring there is enough power for your stay. This does however mean that you will not be able to use hair staighteners for example, there is a usb output for charging mobile phones only. The cabin does have a water supply but please note this is only to supply the sink and toilet - there is no shower. There is a diesel powered heater to keep you toasty for when the nights get cooler too. You will find a well equipped kitchen including a gas double burner hob and grill and small 12v compressor fridge. The outside space is plentiful, we have outdoor seating complete with fire pit . Not to be forgotten is the spacious wood you will have to explore, it is private and there solely for you to explore during your stay. This cabin is totally off grid so you will not have access to the normal amenities we are all used to at home, if this is what you are craving then please, come to stay, however if you are looking for a luxurious stay with all the mod cons we have grown accustomed to then this place is not for you. Guest access You will have access to the whole wood during your stay which has a perimeter fence , we don not own all the surrounding fields so there is no access beyond the fence line.
