Rated 3 stars, the Biche cottage is the most spacious in Rouvignac and can accommodate up to 8 guests in its 92 m² (989 sq. ft.). It features a large living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a sofa bed. You can enjoy Wi-Fi, a TV, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a private terrace with a large stone table. Located in the heart of the hamlet's 33-hectare grounds, it is perfect for stays with family or friends, offering play areas, barbecues, and large open spaces. The space Nestled in the heart of a wild and unspoiled natural setting, the hamlet of Rouvignac is a little haven where time stands still, a place to recharge, breathe, and slow down. Surrounded by the forests and hills of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, this charming place invites you to disconnect and enjoy simple pleasures. Located 6 km from the Avène-les-Bains spa resort, famous for the benefits of its water, and close to the medieval village of Ceilhes-et-Rocozels, the hamlet is ideally situated for exploring the region. The historic towns of Bédarieux and Lodève are approximately 30 minutes away. The history of Rouvignac dates back to the 12th century. Here, you will discover, among other things, the Saint-Pierre Church, dating from 1135, as well as around ten 18th- and 19th-century houses, carefully restored while preserving their authenticity. Today, the hamlet covers 33 hectares of natural surroundings, offering beautiful areas for walking and enjoying a quiet and unspoiled environment. On site, you can enjoy convivial moments around the barbecue area or gather in the small village square, while the children play in the playground. A simple, warm, and authentic place, ideal for getting together with family or friends, or simply enjoying the tranquility and beauty of nature. 🌿🏡 Other things to note COFFEE MACHINE: -capsules 🎯FOR YOUR ARRIVAL: - Please do not book a check-in the same day after 12pm, unless you contact us beforehand to check that the cottage is ready to welcome you. Check-in is flexible with our lockbox. You can check in from 4pm. For any request for early check-in or late check-out, do not hesitate to contact us: we will do our best to satisfy you... The keys will be available in the lockbox the code will be in your check-in information 48 hours before. - You can enter in your GPS "Gîtes de Rouvignac" in Avène. In case of difficulties during your installation you can call me or ring the doorbell in the parking lot. BED LINENS 🧺 A basket with linens (sheets, towels, bath towel) is provided. Beds not made. Please inform us of the number of beds occupied and we will give you the necessary sheets. PEACEFUL 🧘🏻CHARACTER OF THE PREMISES: - Thank you for being discreet for the comfort of all, the hamlet is a quiet place, reconnecting with nature. Be respectful of your neighbors, just as everyone will have to be tolerant on audible sounds within reason. 🚬CIGARETTES/FIRES: - Please use the ashtrays in front of the cottages. Smoking is not allowed inside and outside of this area. - No fire or candles (heavy fire vigilance) apart from barbecue to be extinguished with water available near common tables after use. Wood charcoal not included, 🧽CLEANING NOT INCLUDED, onsite products Thank you for leaving your lodge clean and tidy as it was when you arrived. - Tidy tableware - Linens/towels near the entrance - Bed and general visual identical to check-in - Empty Trash - Cleaned surfaces and bathrooms - Key in lockbox In case of anomaly, a flat-rate withholding of €50 for cleaning or + in case of damage will be made via BnB - A breakage or an awkward accident can happen, we count on your responsibility to notify us (text, Mail...) End of stay cleaning: €80 (optional) This option is offered for added comfort. Whatever your formula, please leave the accommodation in good condition: unmade beds, clean refrigerator and sanitary facilities, and garbage cans emptied before your departure. 🚛• Glass bottles and jars are to be placed in the dumpster on the road down the hamlet. • The yellow bin (recycling) and the brown (toddler) are in the bins on the left when arriving by road. • A compost bin is also available near the barbecues. Please do not throw glasses in the yellow trash cans OUTSIDE 🐕ANIMALS: Your furry friends are welcome. Our dog Bahia will be happy to welcome them with enthusiasm when you arrive. They can walk freely in the hamlet if they are used to staying close and if they do not chase our cats, some of whom are now venerable seniors who enjoy tranquility. Since the hamlet has no car traffic, the environment is quiet and secure for them. We just ask landlords to make sure to pick up their companion's waste to keep everyone clean and happy. 🛝PLAYGROUND: IN Rouvignac, WE love children 😊A lot The hamlet is very quiet and safe, they can usually play freely. 🩵SWIMMING POOL Access to the property's shared outdoor pool, open in season, under the supervision and full responsibility of parents for children. We just ask not to let them play in the ruins, which can be dangerous. Playground games are of course accessible, but remain under the responsibility of adults 🌳 ECODOMAINE: Our hamlet is powered by our own borehole, allowing us to be self-sufficient in water. This water is natural but rich in calcium. As a precaution, it is therefore not recommended for people with kidney failure. For your comfort, a drinking water pack is available upon arrival. Being located in the heart of nature and self-sufficient on resources, we thank you in advance for ensuring reasonable use of the water to avoid any shortage, especially during dry periods. For our cottages, we exclusively use organic laundry detergent for the maintenance of linens and towels. Hand gels, dish soap and cleaning products are also organic products, carefully selected for their quality and respect for the environment. Gas and heating are included and offered during your stay. We also thank you for making responsible use of it. 🚗PARKING: You have private parking for the hamlet in front of the church. WOOD FIREPLACE: We do not provide wood for the fireplace it can be sold at the price of 45 euros per half steer For your family reunions, birthdays, family gatherings or stays with friends, it is possible to privatize the entire estate and its cottages, allowing you to accommodate up to 35 people in a friendly setting that is entirely reserved for your group.
