The space With a distinct connection to nature, the rich colours of the exposed timber and raw materials in this modern apartment make it a great space to hang out together, as a base while you explore Marlborough and the surrounding region, as a convenient stopover for work or on your travels to your next amazing destination. You will be drawn in the moment you open the gate from the street, and you step into the private sunny courtyard. The open plan living and full chefs' kitchen are perfect for entertaining or relaxing, and the quality bespoke finishes have been handpicked and handmade to be a little glamorous, yet all the while practical. Throw open the large french doors ... welcome in the sun so the living space flows effortlessly into the courtyard. This Apartment is a wonderful base while you go and explore Marlborough, to relax and chill ... or just watch TV on the HD Smart projector. The understated monochrome colour palette creates a backdrop for contrasting textures and the exposed history of the buildings past. Upstairs, the light airy bedrooms are warm and elegant with quality beds and soft linens ... relaxed and inviting ... and a touch of the romantic. Both double bedrooms have fantastic bespoke wardrobe storage. The bathroom, with its muted tones of grey and white, has under tile floor heating, heated towel rails, amazing water pressure, and beautiful, thick quality towels. This is all within a few minutes' walk to the Blenheim Town Centre, shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. This is a fantastic option for a holiday, for work accommodation or just a comfortable bed, a good hot shower and a bit of luxury after tramping. Guest access Our guests get the exclusive use of the two bedroom apartment and beautiful private courtyard. The front access is through a gate into the private courtyard. There is also rear parking and a back door. Please note this is a two storey apartment with internal stairs which are part of the original 90 year old building. These stairs are building compliant but they are narrow and steep and they may pose an issue if you have mobility issues. If you have a larger group and require more space, check out all of our apartments to book more than one. We welcome short and long term, so check-in late as a stopover on your way through for just one night, stay for a few days, or make it home for a longer term stay ... whatever you need, we are happy to do what we can to accommodate you. When staying in Apartment Three you will notice the odd sized original doors and doorways that are part of the almost 100 year old building... if you are tall you may need to watch you dont bump your head. Maxwell Rd is one of the main roads going through Blenheim, and our lovely Apartments are right on the street very close to the centre of town. With this great location and apartment living comes lights and noise... We have all new double glazing, sound proofing, concrete construction, and new insulation, but to spite this, the sounds of this busy little rural town and neighbours may be heard. With the windows and doors closed, it can hardly be noticed, but if you like to sleep with your windows open, there can be street noise.
