Summer cottage by the sea

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. Enjoy salty sea bathing and amazing sunsets from the cliffs. The cottage is located at Gammelhamn where there is rental of, for example, canoe and SUP for the active, as well as a flea market for those who want to make summer finds. In the nearby area, there are both the Kapplasse Nature Reserve and Källarberget, with their hiking trails with traces of the ice age in the form of ice ridges, cobblestone fields and pot-like formations. The space The main building of about 70 square meters has a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with a charming old wood stove, a large dining table with 4 stable chairs. Two bedrooms, one with 2 single beds with spring mattress 80x200 cm, the other bedroom has 2 single beds with foam mattresses 80x190 cm. Spacious living room with wood-fired stove, two-seater sofa and two armchairs, there is also a desk and 2 extra chairs and TV with basic channels via antenna, as well as associated VHS/DVD player. Exit to glass veranda with dining table and 4 chairs and a day bed to lie down and rest on or read a book that you borrow from the bookshelf. There is a bathroom with sink and shower cabin. Separate room with combustion toilet directly adjacent to the bathroom. The plot is partly pure natural plot with plenty of blueberry bushes but also a large lawn where there is space for board games such as kubb and croquet. Sun all day and on the terrace you can enjoy the sun from early morning to sunset, on the terrace there is both a dining area and sun beds. Guest access The large cottage, the main building, as well as the entire plot with associated terraces, glass veranda, gazebo and outdoor furniture. The guest house can possibly be rented out to larger groups if an agreement is made in connection with the booking. An extra fee for the use of the guest house will then be added. 50 meters to the beach and about 100 meters to bathing cliffs with a sandy bottom. Other things to note Cleaning is not included. Cleaning is done by the tenant before departure. Cleaning can be selected for SEK 1,500, please notify this when booking. Towels and bed linen are not included. That is, the guest needs to bring pillowcases, bottom sheets and duvet covers. There are pillows, duvets and blankets. The water in the taps is only for washing dishes, laundry and showering. Drinking water is available in the cabin in jugs and bottles. Sikhjälma is a small village in the countryside, there are no shops or restaurants here. It might be a good idea to buy food and drinks on the way here. The nearest grocery store is otherwise only 10 minutes away by car (6 km).
