Beautiful mountain ranges and monasteries surround the hotel. Best homely food where everything from daal -rice to pizza is available on the menu and prepared using locally available, homegrown fresh vegetables. Also open in winters. The space Dakpa House has 9 rooms. Each room is designed carefully to give every guest comfort and a sense of tradition. Some rooms have private balconies called as rabsal. Every room has attached toilet bathroom in western style. There are outdoor spaces for sitting and bonfire. There is a library well stocked with books and board games for spending time. Common comfortable spaces for guests to sit, a dining hall for 20+ people to have meals is there. We have central heating for the winters and room heaters or fans can be provided on request. Guest access Guests can access all common spaces inside the building such as the sitting area, dining area, library as well as their room balconies. Outside garden space, vegetable garden, bonfire area and outside sitting are for all guests. Guests do not have kitchen access. No cooking in rooms allowed. Other things to note Rooms at Dakpa House are on 3 floors. We do not have any lift. Stairs have to be climbed. There is professional and friendly staff working for us. Guests cannot cook or wash clothes in rooms/bathrooms. Guests do not have access to kitchen. They can order food on menu if not booked meals while booking rooms. We do not have TV in rooms. WiFi limited access is available.
