This property features 3 bdrms, each w/ensuite baths, open floor plan, comfortable modern furniture & all amenities. $6,100/wk-Holidays, $5,100wk- Regular Weeks PLUS Cleaning & Pool Expenses The space 388 Neptune is a fully equipped private oasis with a secluded backyard, manicured gardens, solar heated pool, it’s close to town and steps from the beach. The single story sun filled house offers an open concept main living space featuring a living room, a dining room and a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a large counter top bar. The three (3) bedrooms are roughly equal in size, each with an ensuite bathroom. One of the three bedrooms is adjacent to the pool. All rooms have heat and ceiling fans with skylights in the living room, kitchen and all bathrooms. The house does not have air conditioning, but it is rarely needed as we are steps from the beach and the nights tend to cool down. The backyard retreat provides privacy, six modern lounge chairs, a grill, outdoor shower and a new umbrella covered dining table that seats six (6). The house also includes laundry facilities (washer and dryer) on the ground level. 388 Neptune offers its guests free wireless internet access and Direct TV satellite service. The house also contains a flat screen TV and stereo system with indoor/outdoor speakers. We are accessible by cell phone and email, plus there is a local Realtor who can assist in emergency situations. Fire Island Pines is one of the greatest natural beach communities on the eastern coast of The United States. Located only 60 miles from downtown Manhattan, it provides a relaxing atmosphere for its diverse community of seasonal residents, day-trippers and vacationers alike. A short ferry ride across the serene Great South Bay delivers you to a secluded waterside paradise, inviting you to share its pristine beaches, tempting restaurants, fabulous nightlife, rolling boardwalks, and magical sunsets. The Pines, named for the beautiful wind-sculpted pine trees, is truly an architectural paradise and the largest community on the Island. Getting to Fire Island Pines by Car: Car travel from the city to the Ferry Services in Sayville is approximately an hour to an hour and a half or more in traffic. There is a parking lot directly across the street from the ferry to The Pines which charges daily. Getting to Fire Island Pines by Train: You can access the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) easily from Penn Station (Manhattan), Jamaica Station (Queens), or Atlantic Center Terminal in Brooklyn and take the train to Sayville Station - (website hidden) From the Sayville train station, board an awaiting Colonial Taxi or Bus to the ferry terminal. The Sayville Ferry will take you to the Pines. The ride lasts approx. 20 minutes - (website hidden) Once in the Pines, there are no cars or taxi services - everyone walks. There is a wagon at the house if needed. If you are interested in exploring one of the other Fire Island communities, there are Water Taxis that will pick you up in the Harbor (check for signs when you arrive) and take you the community of choice. Additional Costs include: * $150/week - Maid Service * $80/week - Pool Service * Any long distance calls via land line Guest access Guests will have complete access to the entire property. Home owners will not be onsite during guests stay, but will be accessible via telephone or email for questions. There are contacts in the Pines in case of emergency.
