Enjoy our quaint 4 seasons cottage situated on the Muskoka River. Swimming, Kayaking and Paddle boarding await you among the mature forest that canopies the property and shoreline. Nature at its most spectacular. Once you arrive at the cottage, there is no need to step foot in a car again. The cottage is idyllically located steps away from exceptional trails at the Bracebridge Resource Management Center. Renowned Mountain Biking and hiking awaits to be discovered. The space This cottage is for guests seeking relaxation. It is an amazing location to disconnect from city living and the constant hustle and bustle of every day life. With that in mind, the cottage is fully equipped with all modern day conveniences, no compromise to be made while you recharge the soul in beautiful Muskoka. NEW STARLINK INSTALLMENT!!!!!!! There is WIFI connection now at the cottage!!! (Starlink is a satellite based wifi provider and although it is fast, it is slower then city based Ethernet connection in comparison.) Please note that cell reception is very poor on the property, calls can be made with FaceTime audio, Whats App or any other app using WIFI. In the spirit of traditional cottaging, there is an extensive collection of board games and DVD's for rain days or evening fun. Guest access 10 minute drive to the quaint historic town centre of Bracebridge. Great local shops, movie theatres, festivals and many choices of grocery stores. Other things to note Holiday Park Drive is a one lane private drive. As you turn off the highway, you are instantly transported to simpler times and grand beauty in century’s old Muskoka forest. Please drive slow and have courtesy to residents and children playing amongst the trees. Please note before booking, guests will be required to sign a Short Term Rental Agreement before stay. The floating dock and water toys will be removed and stored for winter between Canadian Thanksgiving weekend and May 24 holiday weekend. (The last picture is what the property looks like in winter with the floating dock under a green tarp.) It is a beautiful, magical place to rent in the winter. The cross-country skiing trail is exceptional at the resource centre which begins a few steps off the property. The 50 AMP plug can be used for a trailer.
