The space ✨ Almost like riding the rails! Stepping into our cheery yellow train car feels like starting a mini adventure - even if the scenery outside the window doesn't change. The 180 sqft Arthur tiny house is named for Pam's Grandfather who had a passion for trains 🚂 ​The high, curved ceiling on the cedar-lined cupola in the second-floor sleeping loft, gives the long narrow tiny house a surprisingly open and spacious feeling. Arthur has a small kitchenette, complete with fridge, induction burner, and a sink, plus dishware for light cooking. There are 2 small tables with seating perfect for a meal, or getting some work done on a laptop. Clean lines and a great mix of rustic train accents, like toy models, maps and railroad memorabilia, combine perfectly with a chipper color palette and warm wood interior to give the space a sunny relaxed vibe. As with all the tiny houses at Tiny Digs, this tiny house has free WiFi, running water, electric heat and air-conditioning, a mini-refrigerator, a cooking area, a flush toilet and a hot shower. 💤 Sleeping Arrangement 🛏️ Loft - queen sized foam mattress (sleeps 2 adults) 🛏️ Main floor couch bed - double sized foam mattress (sleeps 2 adults or children) 🚻 Bathroom Arrangement 🚿 Stand up shower, toilet, sink ✨ Amenities ▪️ Air conditioning ▪️ Induction cooktop w/ set of small pots and pans ▪️ French press coffee maker and tea kettle (coffee and tea provided) ▪️ Patio with two chairs ▪️ Shared Fire-pit in common area ▪️ Secured Tiny House common area with digital smart lock 📍 Location ▪️ Countless walkable restaurants and bars ▪️ Walk to shopping and entertainment ▪️ Three blocks to Oregon Park ▪️ Two miles to downtown Portland ▪️ Nine miles to Portland International Airport Guest access There is a nice common outdoor area with a fireplace, yard games and hammocks plus a guitar, if you're so inclined to strum a few tunes around the fire. Other things to note ▪️ PLEASE NOTE: Guest must e-sign Rental Agreement and provide photo of ID. Security deposit required: $200 hold (not charge). ▪️ Tiny homes have tiny hot water heaters. Because the tank is tiny, it generally provides about 15 minutes of hot water and then it will take about 15 minutes (with water off) to reheat another full tank ▪️ With a tiny home, you have a tiny circuit breaker. Please do not use multiple heating element appliances in the outlets in the kitchen area at the same time as well as using the space heater and hair dryer at the same time. This can cause one or more circuit breakers to trip, and you will lose power. ▪️ We do not have on-site parking. However, there is ample parking available in the area.
