Boho Upper Duplex-Remote Workers & Travelers!

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located apartment near Lake Michigan! This adorable, boho styled apartment is outfitted for the casual Milwaukee visitor or for a long term stay. Each aspect of the home is meant to be a functional space with elements of travel & creativity. A fully supplied kitchen, a cozy living room, a restful bedroom, 2 foldable cruiser bikes & the perfect MKE location is sure to provide with a unique experience! The space We are looking forward to hosting you in our traveled upper unit duplex! You will enter the upper unit of the home by using the back door only. This door is red with a grey trim. There is free parking for you just behind the home. It is easily accessible and safe! Here are some fun details about each room! Bedroom: There are two hand built barn doors for entering the bedroom. The top drawer of the dresser contains any extra personal items if you forgot them. Feel free to use any of them! There are also extra linens and an iron in the bedroom dresser. Extra Room: We have pickle ball equipment, a volleyball, yoga mats, exercise ball, Spikeball and exercise bands for work out enthusiasts. The pickle ball and volleyball courts can be found throughout Milwaukee area! We have 2 foldable bikes that can be used during your stay. Helmets, bike locks, and bike lights are provided. The closet has an hangers, a drying rack for clothes and a small step ladder. Bathroom: There are extra towels in the bathroom. A hair dryer is located in the bottom drawer of the vanity. A rechargeable removable motion light is above the doorway. Living room: We want a space that is inviting with world decor to inspire! This space has a comfortable couch, extra blankets, succulents and is a perfect spot to work from home or relax & unwind. Kitchen: We have many spices, sauces, kitchen utensils and supplies on hand to make any home made meal. We have brand new stainless steel appliances as well. Coffee supplies are also available for the coffee enthusiast- a French Press, Aeropress, pour over, Moka pot and coffee grinder. We also love out Vitamix blender to make any kitchen items. Reusable mugs and storage containers also on hand. Basement: The basement is a shared space and will have a free washer and dryer for use along with free detergent (located to the right of the dryer). The washer and dryer are located to the right when you enter. There are removable, rechargeable lights that will illuminate when opening the red storm doors. Lighting in the home: The entry way light fixture light bulbs along with many motion lights in the home are removable and rechargeable. Since we have an older home, we wanted to be creative with the lightening! Charging cords are available for any motion lights in the home. Guest access You will have access to a private bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, second room and living room. The basement is shared and is located through the red storm doors outside. Other things to note The home is nearly 100 years old so we do appreciate being gentle with space :). Sam and I bought this home because we love the East Side area and have been fixing up the upper unit for over a year. We have long dreamt of traveling abroad long term and are living out our dreams in South America for a few years while we rent out space on Airbnb. The home is so dear to us as we want every Airbnb guest to feel comfortable, cozy and enjoy the best Milwaukee has to offer!
