Set in a quiet village, there is lots to do in this part of Northamptonshire. Figgy Cottage & Wren Cottage are adjoining houses that together create a spacious home where you can relax and enjoy the quiet seclusion of a traditional English village. The space When you book to stay at the newly renovated Figgy Wren Cottage you can be assured that every detail has been thought of to make your holiday memorable. Designed by interior designers to create a stylish and comfortable home, there are two adjoining cottages that can accommodate ten guests in total with each bedroom having its own ensuite bath or shower room. Downstairs: The dining room has room for 8 guests and the kitchen can seat 10 at the table plus another 4 stools at the quartz topped island. There is an additional second fully equipped kitchen kitchen making this home perfect for two families holidaying together. The Sitting Room: There are two spacious sitting rooms with Sky TV and super fast Gigaclear fibre broadband provides ample Wifi for working from home or streaming movies. Board games and plenty of books give you the option to have a screen detox during your stay too! During the winter you can light the woodburners for cosy evenings by the fire. The Kitchens and The Pantry: Top of the range appliances by Smeg and Fisher and Paykel sit comfortably in the bespoke handbuilt kitchens and the adjoining pantry and utility provide plenty of storage as well as laundry facilities for your use during your stay. Upstairs: Three of the bedrooms have superking sized beds and the other two have king sized beds, one of which can be spilt into two singles. The soft bedding and towels are hotel standard and each boutique style bathroom has a pretty painted vanity and luxury brass showers or baths with Claus Porto toiletries provided. Outdoors: The outdoor area has two lawned gardens, one perfect for croquet and an open sided barn with a table and barbecue. There is also an electric car charging point (this is chargeable on use at the current rate per KwH) Guest access You'll have plenty of room here with parking in the walled garden for up to 6 cars and two pretty lawned areas enclosed by original redbrick stables. There's a spacious enclosed outdoor seating area in the open sided barn and a Green Egg barbecue for summer dining. Other things to note As you would expect from an old quirky cottage, there are wonky walls and low ceilings in some of the rooms. One of the bedrooms has a low beam to watch out for too.
