Summer dates get booked months in advance. January and February 2026 were reserved a full 15 months ahead for a month-long stay! Nelson sells out early for the peak season dates so secure your spot now to avoid disappointment. • We really prefer 3 night minimum stays or longer all year round. During our peak summer holiday dates we do prefer minimum 4-5 night stays but still make contact if time is limited. • We also do love longer stays of 2 -4 weeks. If the dates you want are not available do make contact as we may not have fully opened our calendar or blocked some days for changeover cleaning days, or just for us! • Early check-in or later check-out may be possible for no extra charge. Just ask! • Need an extra bed? We’re happy to host up to 5 guests if needed. Just let us know when you book so we can leave out a single airbed with bedding, at no extra charge. 🌟House Rules: • Thank you for respecting our, no parties and no extra visitors rule during your stay. • This is strictly a no-smoking, drug-free, and pet free home inside and outside. 🌟Seasonal Notes: • Our solar heated private pool is available from November until March. • Loungers and cushions are stored away in cooler months to protect them. • Strawberries and lemons from the garden are yours to enjoy when in season. 🌟For Families: We’ve hosted wonderful families and welcome them as guests. For under-twos we provide baby essentials. The travel cot fits at the end of the hallway, close to both bedrooms. It can also fit in the study so your wee one has its own room. The beach and reserve nearby offer endless entertainment for all ages with several playgrounds, bumper boats, skate park, mini golf, hydroslide, tennis courts and more. 🌟Final Details: • Luggage storage available if timing aligns • Private areas: Master bedroom, ensuite, and garage are closed off during stays Guest access As this is our own home, there will be some high cupboards and cabinets that will be locked or have signage asking guests to respect that they are private areas and are not to be opened. Please note that our master bedroom that opens onto the private outside patio area is not available. Also, the ensuite and garage will be locked. Thank you for respecting that everything stays in the house for future guests to use. Other things to note Wifi speed verified by Spark for average download is 322Mbps and the average upload speed is 108 Mbps so great internet speeds. We have installed extra Spark Orbi routers so we have a fantastic internet connection throughout the whole house and in the outside areas also.
