Welcome to the entire Tar Heel Country Cottage. Your stay here will feel like home-cozy and comfortable. Our cottage can sleep up to 6 people with the sofa bed. Don't pay for an overpriced crowded hotel room. Our cottage offers a real authentic perspective on Carolina living. We have the Tea House around the corner, as well as our Maple View Farm creamery just a 1 mile away. Carrboro is 3 miles down Hwy 54, and UNC is 4.5 miles away. We welcome all people wanting to get a taste of country life. The space Our home is on the North-West outskirts of Chapel Hill down a gravel road. It is dark at night, but you can see the stars better. We have Christian images around the home, but we are very tolerant of all people and their beliefs <3 Please excuse our hallway bathroom paint. Some cleaning products discolored it. We hope you enjoy your stay! Guest access The entire house is at your disposal during your stay - except the master bedroom. Instructions on how to access the home will be sent via email prior to check-in. Currently our master bedroom and bath is being renovated, and our hallway bathroom paint needs to be corrected. Other things to note We encourage guests to contact the housekeeper during long stays to help with the upkeep of the cottage. The security cameras will be enabled at night.
