A charming place on the shores of majestic Lake Lanier, the Blue Heron offers lakeside living at its finest. This updated, furnished terrace level lake cottage is relaxing and perfect for anyone to unwind and enjoy the lakefront to recharge your mind and soul amidst nature. You'll wake up to beautiful sunrise on Lake Lanier and stunning deep blue water lake views. Enjoy Lake Lanier to fullest with kayaking, boating, fishing or just relaxing by a seasonal private beach or lounging on the dock. The space The backyard is located on a peaceful deep water cove on Lake Lanier, with a private beach. There is a spacious screened in patio and lakeside deck to enjoy a meal with a comfortable six seater outdoor dining table, multi-game table and a separate seating area. All three rooms have private access to the screened in porch overlooking the lake. One can access the spacious deck and dock that has expansive views and a private natural beach by stairs. The dock has lounging chairs and a boat slip so you can enjoy the sunsets, fishing on the water or enjoy seating around the fire-pit in the backyard. An outdoor grill is available for cooking up your grilled favorites while enjoying the outdoors. The living room has mid-century modern decor with a coastal theme, hand-picked furnitures, a 65 inch wall mounted Roku TV and a fireplace. The main bedroom features a comfortable king bed, walk-in closet, updated en suite luxurious bathroom and a 55 inch Smart TV. The second bedroom features eclectic coastal decor, storage, a king bed. The dedicated workspace includes a work desk, chair and lamps provided in both the bedrooms. In addition there is a game room with a pool table. Kitchen is well-stocked with Pioneer woman cookware and other branded utensils. It is equipped with a full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and stove. Besides elegant quartz countertops and a spacious pantry there is an in-unit private laundry room with ironing table and iron, quality linens and toiletries. The cottage can be conveniently accessed via private entrance located in the front of the house with an adjacent open parking. Convenient access to Dawsonville Highway, parks, trails, marina, malls, downtown, shops and restaurants in Gainesville and nearby areas. Your home away from home for your next adventure awaits!! Guest access Entire Terrace level / Ground Floor Level / Basement suite with a separate private entrance, access to beach, backyard, dock and deck. Note: There’s 2 short flight of stairs to reach the ground floor unit from parking lot. Driveway on the hilly terrain is sloped towards the house and lake, which places the unit very close to the water rendering amazing views of lake. Driving slowly recommend. Other things to note The single slip dock is available for guest use, and there are third party boat rental options on the lake. There’s a $150 fee for boat parking per stay. Preferred option is to leverage alternate docking available in nearby Marina. Backyard is sloped and to get from the suite to the dock you have to navigate three flights of stairs. Beach is within our property lines and available to enjoy during the drier months of the year, summer through fall. During rainy spring / summer months the water level of lake might rise sometimes which covers parts or full of beach depending on rain level. No party or events. No night stays for extra guests not on booking. Number of adult guests (including day visitors) limited to max capacity of unit (6). Parking is limited to 1 to 2 vehicles and no parking available for trailers. Prior notification is preferred for second vehicle. No pets.
