If you can’t find the dates you are looking for, check out our other yurts “Sweet Clover” & “The Scarlet Trumpet” The space Each yurt is a fully equipped tiny home. Hot shower, toilet, queen bed, kitchen & living space gives you all the comforts of home settled in the remote headwaters of the Sanger mountains, allowing you to explore the great outdoors & relax in style. We do ask that you use our organic soaps as our yurts are on a grey water system that feed surrounding trees. Guest access Located 15 minutes south of Salida over Poncha Pass, the yurts have all the uniqueness of being surrounded in nature with the ability to still enjoy the town and numerous hotsprings around. Between Nov. - April, 4x4 vehicle required. Arriving on a 0.7 mile dirt easement from the highway, most vehicles can access the property except high end low clearance sports cars. Each yurt has parking directly opposite for guest. Please share the parking spaces with others who might be using an adjacent space. Other things to note We do allow dogs with a $35 pet cleaning fee. Let us know and we can put out a crate and dog bed. The yurts are for 2 people due to water & septic constraints. If you really need to bring a 3rd person or child, please reach out. Extra person fee is $60. The yurts are located 0.7 miles off the highway on a dirt road. I drive a Volvo station wagon so most cars can access the property no problem. If you drive a high end sports car or a vehicle with very low clearance however, then this destination is probably not for you.
