Guest access Directions to Tarawanda House: 1. **From the Airport:** Take a taxi and head towards VUGA roundabout in Stone Town. It's about a 15-minute ride. 2. **From the Ferry Terminal:** Walk towards Forodhani Garden. Continue along Kenyatta Road, passing Stone Town Cafe. Take a left after Horizon Hotel, then the first right after Stone Town House. 3. **At VUGA Roundabout:** Once you reach VUGA roundabout, locate Pipaldi Street, opposite the Ethiopian restaurant. Walk along Pipaldi Street for about 1 minute until you spot the building directly across from ACT. 4. **Identifying the Accommodation:** Look for a white building with a balcony at the end of the road. Ring bell number 525 for assistance. You'll enter through distinctive Double Zanzibari-style doors. In the heart of Stone Town, explore the area safely on foot day or night. Getting lost in the narrow streets is normal, but locals will gladly guide you back to the ACT building or VUGA roundabout. Stone Town is safe and quiet. Taxis are available for island-wide travel (approximately $50 USD for 1 hour), or opt for motorbike taxis or 3-wheel bajajis (expect to pay $3 USD for a short trip). However, walking around Stone Town is the easiest way to get around. Let us know if you need transportation arrangements in advance. Enjoy exploring Stone Town!
