Situated in the village of Woodcroft, the lodge sits on the edge of the stunning Penmoel Estate. Outside private patio and garden area, with shared access to the children's play area and climbing frame. Nestled away in beautiful, SSSI woodland, on the cross roads between Offa's Dyke Path and the Gloucestershire Way with direct access onto Offa's Dyke. The Rising Sun pub, a splendid community owned public house is situated within a 2 minute walk of the lodge, serving lunch and dinner daily. Private BBQ and garden table and chairs on a sunny decking in front of the lodge, with views of the River Severn in the distance. Short walking distance to Woodcroft Quarry, part of the Lower Wye Valley climbing area. Within 1 km of the lodge, the Wye Valley Greenway walking and cycling path takes you from Woodcroft to Tintern, via a spectacularly refurbished railway tunnel - open 1 April - 31 September. Secure bike parking available. Easy access to Chepstow, Monmouthshire, the Forest of Dean and Bristol. Chepstow is the nearest large town, boasting a magnificent medieval castle, racecourse, restaurants and shops and regular direct trains to Cardiff, Newport, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Guest access You will have the entire lodge and surrounding patio area to yourselves, with shared access to the garden and play area.
