This cozy and airy 2br/1ba cottage is a tranquil escape from city life, located at the end of a quiet, redwooded canyon, within walking distance of picturesque downtown Guerneville. Enter into this charming space and you will find rest, relaxation, and an ideal environment for quiet contemplation, with high speed internet for those who wish to work at home. A community beach is only a 2-minute walk from the serene cottage. There is street parking for 2 cars. The cottage has a spa, two decks, and a generous outdoor dining patio. Come inside and you will find a well-equipped kitchen with long marble countertops and sleek appliances including an induction stove, as well as a dining area that seats 4, and a lounge complete with comfy couch and armchair, TV, and a trendy retro wood-burning stove. The upstairs bedroom and downstairs bedroom and bathroom both have comfy queen beds. Abundant big windows and glass doors allow for light to flood in and also provide gorgeous views of the surrounding trees. Our guests have access to a plentiful supply of books and games for rainy days, and tennis racquets and river floaties for the fine sunny days. The cottage is ideally situated for lovers of the great outdoors with ready access to some of California’s best hiking and biking trails, as well as the Pacific Ocean, Armstrong Redwoods, and amazing countryside. Also located in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, this home serves as a great ‘home base’ for exploring all that Sonoma County has to offer. Tennis courts and mini golf are a short walk away. Wine lovers and foodies will also love staying at the cottage, as it is located close to several globally-renowned Sonoma Wine Country wineries and many restaurants and bars, and is less than 20 miles from Healdsburg and the Mayacama Golf Club. *Due to stairs and steep hillsides surrounding the cottage, small children are not recommended due to safety concerns.
