The Kumaoni House is in the middle of estate nestled among the Himalayan foothills and river Kalsa flows down along our farms. It offers homely stay and surrounded by pine and oak trees. Ideal for hiking, bird watching, nature walk, organic farming, bee keeping. It is away from hustle bustle, crowd and is for those seeking to respect and be comforted by nature with its rich foliage, birds and scenery. The space The Silent Valley is a privately owned 100 acres estate in Alchuana-Bhimtal (Nainital). The cottage is surrounded by pine and oak trees. Some of our offerings are: - King size cozy bed - Cozy corner with sofa - Attached Bathroom with hot water. - Ambient and aromatic experience - View of the Himalayas and valley. - A wooded interior - Parking All meals with us will be served in the dinning area only. We serve food with all our love just like you are having meals at your own home. We do not provide room service. A place with awesome natural beauty boasted through jungles, mountains, rivers, where clouds create riots of colours on the mountains. If you really want a non-commercialized nature stay, this is the place. Walking, trekking, birding, bathing in pristine rivers and waterfalls, running behind the butterflies, star gazing, visiting tiny hamlets, enjoying local cuisine, bee keeping and staying in traditional Kumaoni culture are what you can enjoy here. It offers homely accommodations for a nice stay and enjoys the nature near Nainital. Guest access Guests are free to access all parts of the 100 acres estate and farms where we grow vegetables and exotic flowers. The cottage is built on a hillock in the lap of Himalayas. And river Kalsa flows down along with estate make it the perfect place to enjoy hill top and river at one location. We can also organise treks for guests with prior information. Guests can enjoy theme , nature and farm based activities like Bird watching, Star Gazing, Cycling, Bee Keeping tips, Cow Miking, Farming tips , Horse riding, Kumaoni Village Walk, Nature and jungle walk. Chldren- 6 to 12 years- Rs.150/- per child Lunch and Dinner (Veg) – Rs.350 per person per meal. Children between 6 to 12 years- Rs. 225 per child per meal for lunch and dinner. No meal charges for kids below 5 years. Typical meals have a couple of sabizs, daal, rice roti, salad papad etc. Light meals can be prepared and cost would be less for it. • Tea and snacks will be charged extra. • Private Bonfire- Rs.500/- per day.
