Puffin pod has a private patio with spectacular mountain views. Ideal for bird watchers, golfers and nature lovers. The Pod is a ten-minute walk from scenic Sango Beach and the centre of Durness village. Two miles from the superb 9-hole Durness Golf Course and a five-minute walk from Smoo Cave. The space Puffin Pod is one of our two camping pods situated on the family croft in the lovely village of Durness, a popular stop-off on the NC500. Ideal for couples, Puffin Pod boasts a luxurious king-size bed. For families with older children, it also has a double sofa-bed. Please note, due to the limited space in Puffin Pod, we only accept bookings for a maximum of 2 adults. The sofa bed is intended for use by families with children. Guest access Access to your own private patio and the whole of the family croft, which leads down to Allt Smoo Burn. Follow the Burn downstream for a few hundred metres and see it cascade down into Smoo Cave. Other things to note Puffin Pod may not be suitable for families with very young children due to the open access to the croft and stream.
