Your perfect get-a-way in Lake Arrowhead awaits you! The Cozy Chic Cabin, located in the prestigious Palisade neighborhood, is a five minute walk to the lake and the groomed trails. Bathe your senses amongst the lofty pines, majestic oaks and natural beauty of the wildlife at Lake Arrowhead. Take in the fresh country air as you sit back and relax, or enjoy the abundant outdoor activities available. The Cozy Chic Cabin, located in the prestigious Palisades neighborhood, is a five minute walk to the lake and the groomed trails available for a Sunday stroll or brisk jog any day. And yes, dogs are allowed on a leash. The charming little town of Cedar Glenn is a three-minute walk from your cabin. It has a few restaurants, a mini-mart, gas station, hardware store, post office and a few cute places to shop. Lake Arrowhead village is a five-minute drive and has many more shops, restaurants, summer concerts and seasonal festivities, not to mention it is located on the lake. About three more minutes down the road is the town of Blue Jay. You'll find more restaurants, a movie theater, and Jensen's market with a Starbucks, Rite Aid and more shops. As you step into your cozy mountain retreat from our quaint village community, or arrive from your busy life elsewhere, you will immediately notice that your cabin has been recently updated! The distressed maple floors, the freshly painted walls with a beautiful knotty pine wainscot, the ceiling with exposed wood beams, all appointed to create the perfect ambiance for your cozy, yet chic, get-a-way. Curl up in front of an alluring wood-burning fireplace (cowboy TV as they call it), or enjoy our complimentary Netflix installed in every room on every TV. The lavishly comfortable, new sofa bed folds out into a queen bed that is simply heaven to sleep on, and is close enough to enjoy the fireplace and/or living room TV. How convenient/romantic is that? Later, enjoy a snack at the bar, lounging on the comfy arrow back swivel stools, or picture yourself enjoying a fresh cup of coffee seated on your private wrap around deck, as the gentle morning sunlight greets you. Or if you like, step out onto one of the three sprawling decks out back, and recline into the new out-door sectional sofa, while you will unwind in the most serene of surroundings with your favorite adult beverage, or the like. At night, enjoy the soft light commercial string lights that light up the two upper decks for your dining and outdoor entertaining.  The first thing you will notice about the kitchen is that everything is at the same time contemporary, tasteful, and designed to make you feel right at home. From the exquisite granite counter tops to the newly installed appliances, and fully stocked cabinets with all the dishes and cookware you will need, your time here will feel nothing short of an epicurean delight. There are local markets to pick up your groceries or bring them with you. There is a super clean full bathroom down stairs, just before you go up to the three bedrooms on the second floor. Just in front of the bathroom you'll find a doggy-door leading to a fully enclosed dog-run, so your furry friends can enjoy the fresh air in a safe environment. The Queen Bedroom has a new queen memory foam mattress with new comforter and pillows and a wall mounted 45inch tv.  The Full Bedroom has a newer full size pillow-top mattress, gorgeous new bedspread and pillows. It has a bedside stand with a reading lamp and a new 32inch wall wall mounted tv. The Bunk Bed Room sports a new wooden bunk bed and each bed furnished with a new twin mattress, a comforter, pillows and extra blankets. In here you'll also find a new 32inch wall mounted tv.  Whether at rest or play, you are sure to catch a glimpse of the "locals" as they frolic about in their natural habitat. It's common to spy a nesting Blue Jay or the red plume of a nearby Wood Pecker on the grounds. The tiny Chipmunks will delight you as they dash around for acorns, and the Grey Squirrels are always good for an acrobatic show as they fly from branch to branch several feet off the ground! Be for warned, the local Raccoons will gladly "recycle" any garbage you leave outdoors, so be sure to secure your garbage bin in the small out building right off the kitchen door. You may also spot a Coyote darting in and out of the forest. If you're here in the winter months skiing/snow boarding and tubing are a 20-minute drive to Snow Valley in Running Springs. In the warm months there is boating, water skiing, etc. at the lake. There are hiking trails for all levels, plenty of off roading trails, star gazing at the observatory and ice-skating/ roller blading at Santa’s Village, just to name a few activities!  Hope to hear from you soon! The Cozy Chic Cabin comes with most cooking basics like pots, pans, food processor, salt, pepper ect. Pet's are welcome but failure to notify the homeowner will result in an extra charge of $100 per day. Lake Arrowhead is a private lake, however I do offer lake passes for a one time $50 fee. I will send your reservation dates to the ALA (Arrowhead Lake Association) and when you want to got to the lake you can go to the Marina with your lake pass, and pay $10/ person per day. This includes access to the trail, small beaches, and fishing. The only thing unavailable to guests are the beach clubs (ALA policy). The Cozy Chic Cabin comes with a gas fire pit and gas grille. The propane for the fire pit is supplied free of charge but if you would like me to supply the grille with propane ahead of your arrival I can do that for a $45 fee. When you leave please take all accumulated trash with you or you can take it to the nearest dump site which is Heaps Peak Transfer Station at 29818 Highway 18 Running Springs, CA 92352.  If trash bags are left at the cabin a $50 Dump Fee will be charged.
