The Barn - Luxury countryside retreat with hot tub

Forget your worries in this spacious and tranquil retreat with beautiful views of the Staffordshire countryside. Situated in a stunning rural location just 15 miles from the market town of Nantwich, the area boasts an abundance of quaint pubs and restaurants within just 10 minutes drive - one in walking distance. There are also plenty of scenic countryside walks on our doorstep and the location is ideal for those looking to visit the Peak District, attractions, or theme parks nearby. The space The Barn has been stylishly designed and beautifully decorated to provide a fresh and contemporary space, ideal for couples to escape and relax in. We have all the amenities of a comfortable and romantic getaway suitable for visits across all four seasons, including underfloor heating to keep you toasty through winter. To lower the carbon footprint the Barn is equipped with solar panels and and an air to water heat pump to reduce the environmental impact all year round. The outside area includes a private garden area and patio with dining table and chairs, bistro table and chairs, hot tub, BBQ and ping pong table - all part of your own private space. Things to do There are plenty of walks to enjoy on our doorstep or if you choose to venture further afield the Peak district National park is only a 50 minute drive away. You can also get to Alton Towers theme park in 34 minutes by car, or visit closer attractions like the Trentham Monkey forest or the market town of Nantwich. The location is just as superb as The Barn itself, positioned directly on a road leading to Hanchurch woods where you can walk for miles and miles. There is an abundance of fabulous walks and scenic trails to explore together with cycle routes and tracks, delightful little villages and pubs. Alton Towers theme park and gardens is 34 minutes’ drive away and makes for a great day out. The spectacular country houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are just over an hours drive away. Food and drink There are a number of nice little pubs and restaurants nearby, most within a 10 - 15 minute drive, so you won't be short of places to stop at and enjoy on your way back from a leisurely countryside walk. Amenities The Barn comes equipped with Private access to a hot tub, BBQ and outdoor seating area, ping pong table, coffee maker, croquet set, fridge and freezer, shower gel and shampoo, waterfall shower, towels and bed linen. There is also Netflix in the TV to stream all of your favourite series. Guest access Guests have complete private access to the entire Barn and patio as well as the garden pictured. Hot tub and ping pong amenities are also for our guests private use only. The driveway is shared with the main house, however the Barn sits at the bottom of an L-shaped garden and is separated from the main house by an embankment and screening to give the space its own private feel.
