There is no dishwasher. • Electric grill: Do not use when wet, barefoot, or with metal utensils; use Teflon only. • 1 window in the door; be sure to unlock the latches to open it. • Sheetrock walls: You may hear some noise from the neighboring lofts or people on the Malecon. • A kitchenette (no dishwasher). • Ensuite bathroom, under the stairs: height 4.27–6.23 feet (1.30–1.90 meters). • Private entrance on the boardwalk. Location: • Isla Mujeres is generally quiet. • 4 blocks to the ferry. • 6 blocks to Playa Punta Norte. • 1 block from Calle Hidalgo (restaurants). • 3 blocks to a mini-supermarket. Surroundings: • Corner: Tiny Gecko Bar. • Next door: Sueño de Marfil Mexican restaurant (live singer Friday and Saturday, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Guest access Access to the terrace: Includes lounge chairs and an umbrella. You go up the wooden staircase next to the swings (the swings are exclusive to La Rioja 4). The terrace is shared with the renters of Casa La Rioja. Other things to note Above Casa La Rioja is the Sueño de Marfil restaurant. Important: They have live singing on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Along the pier, there are shops and tourists. This space is ideal for enjoying on your own or with friends, relaxing on the terrace sunbeds, or walking along the seashore. If you need the umbrella on the terrace, please ask me for it, as I don't leave it up for safety reasons when it's very windy.
