Treehouse secluded with forest view from HOT TUB

"The Roost" is a modern treehouse 2 hrs south of St Louis near Wappapello Lake. Yes it has indoor plumbing & running water. Accommodates two adults, has a fully equipped kitchen, and breakfast items are provided for you to cook. Surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. Observe wildlife sightings from the deck while soaking in the private hot tub, sleep comfortably in a queen size pillowtop Serta bed on a Motion Air base, and relax as you enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. The space Much thought and preparation was given in the design for accommodating 2 adults, it is not suitable for children. The cabin is an open 16x20 room with vaulted ceiling. The bathroom has a sliding door, the toilet is covered to resemble an "outhouse" but it is a normal working toilet with modern septic system, and all the modern plumbing for the shower and sinks. The front porch is covered and has a comfy outdoor couch. The back deck is screened in and has no exterior entrance for safety and security. This is one of two cabins we have on our property for guests to book. The only part of each cabin visible to the other is the roof peaks. Since the surrounding woods are public land, seasonal hunters may be around and guests could also hunt the public land during legal hunting seasons. Guests are not permitted to hunt on our property. Guest access Our property is a half-mile off the county road and there is a gate that you will be given a keypad code to enter. The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. Guests can also sit outside or underneath the cabin in a swing. Guests may explore on walks and hikes. The woods are home to deer, turkey, turtles, raccoons, possums, armadillos, and several species of snakes so be cautious and best protected with boots and long pants. There’s plenty of parking space across from the cabin if pulling a boat or trailer with ATV/UTV. Only 3 miles to public boat ramp at the end of our county road. Our home is on down the hill but you will still have all the privacy you need. The cover photo shows how far off the driveway the treehouse is. Other things to note We are in a remote area, 3 miles of gravel road to the cabin, a half-mile long gravel driveway. We live on down the hill so we will drive past the treehouse. There are restaurants and grocery stores within a 20 minute drive.
