Welcome to Disisit...a quiet and relaxing getaway just 45mins from St. John's and minutes from major amenities. Beautiful views of the pond and sunsets from every room. A spacious 3-bedroom cottage located on Big Goose Pond, Whitbourne. 2 floors of spacious, open-concept living areas, and 3 bedrooms all with views of the pond. Fully-equipped kitchen. Patios off kitchen/master with landscaped area leading to pond, outdoor firepit and hot tub. **dock is pulled in mid October until late May The space 2-level open concept cottage/home has direct access to the pond and is available year round. Main level is open concept with living room/wood burning fire place, kitchen and eating area. Entire space has views of the pond. Master bedroom is on the main floor with views of the pond, patio doors and a patio. It also has a full bathroom. Laundry room and powder room is also on the main floor Kitchen is well equipped with everything you should need to prepare just about anything. Fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser. Water is from an artesian well and we have a filtration system. Coffee: 12 cup drip coffee maker, Bodum and Nespresso machine (Verturo pods - small supply provided, these are not available locally, so we recommend you bring extra to ensure you have enough). Second floor has a loft area overlooking the living room and view of pond. There are two spacious bedrooms upstairs as well as a full bathroom. there is also a separate family/games room on this level with TV and seating. There is a patio off the kitchen with a propane BBQ and from there you can access the landscaped yard and pond. There is gravel beach area with access to the Pond and floating dock. There is a 7-person Hot tub as well as a Fire Pit. The Pond has a rocky base so water shoes are recommended. the water is shallow near the cabin. The cove is relatively protected from wind so it perfect for enjoying the water. The pond is suitable for all motorized and non-motorized water activities. There is a launching area onsite (gravel driveway extends to pond) as well as a public launch/access if needed. Pond use is at the renters own risk but we are happy to answer any questions/provide advice. Guest access Guests will be able to access the entire home and property - minus the garage and a couple of locked closets. Other things to note If booking with children: please review pictures of loft overlooking main room as it has horizontal wire railings. There are no baby gates or barriers on the stairs During the summer the lawn care company may be by to take care of the lawns, I will do my best to schedule this between guests. However, given the weather and the company’s schedule, this is not always possible. If there are dates you are interested in please reach out as availability is updated 1-3 months in advance once we know our schedules. Registration Details 5917
