Home in Black Mountain
Description
This cozy 1890 home is about a 4 minute walk to Tomahawk Lake Park and an 8 minute stroll to the heart of downtown Black Mountain. We offer a variety of toiletries and personal items plus a delightful coffee and tea bar. The enclosed sunroom off the back provides a beautiful view of nature and the surrounding mountains. The home is family & dog friendly. We offer extra amenities such as a booster seat, pack n play, toys/books, outlet covers, dog bowls with an absorbent mat and waste bags. The space We have made the home as welcoming and comfortable as we hope your own might feel. The kitchen has almost every small appliance and cooking tool you might need. But with all the amazing restaurants a short walk away I wouldn't blame you for wanting to eat out. The bathroom has a rain shower and handheld shower head. We have also provided an assortment of toiletries, hair dryer, and steamer. All towels and linens are 100% cotton and are laundered with sanitizer and sensitive skin detergent. The queen beds are a combination of firm yet soft and in a full protective cover. All televisions are equipped with Roku or Amazon Fire, we have an assortment of books, games and preloaded Sega game system. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the yard infront of and behind the home. Just be mindful of the road traffic and water way that leads to Tomahawk Lake. You have full access to the homes first floor. The basement is off limits but there will be a key available in the event a breaker trips and needs to be reset. Other things to note While the home was built in 1890 the electrical and plumbing has been updated. There are also storm windows that help to insulate and sound proof the home. Most windows can be opened but some cannot. As the kitchen is vintage to the 1950's our General Electric Stove has its quirks. The oven runs about 50-60° hotter than the temperature you set it for. Please keep this in mind and use the temperature gauge inside the oven to confirm it is at your preferred temp. Also the range top burners can be finicky so it is best to not leave it unattended.
