The house is cool in the sense that it has two separate comfortable living areas with bathrooms and smart TV’s. Family can hang out together or do their own thing. The table downstairs is great for playing games or puzzling. The downstair has bunk beds. There is plenty of yard for throwing a frisbee or playing toss. The large deck is great for grilling and socializing. WI-FI is good. The whole property is available for guest use. Per town ordinance the wood stove is not able to be used in short term rentals. We are generally in the area and available if needed. Abby Lane is located in a quiet neighborhood just outside the busy town of Bar Harbor. The house sits on one acre so you will have your privacy. A short walk down the road will bring you to Hadley point beach. The Island explorer bus stops just up the street from June 23rd to early October. It’s a free service which provides transportation to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. It’s a great alternative to driving. The downstairs part of the house is accessible through a separate entrance. There is an ADDITIONAL PET FEE Requested after reservation is paid. The wood stove is for DECORATION only
