This listing is for Bedroom #2 in a 4 bedroom Bunkhouse with two sets of bunk beds. a twin over a double (the only double in the house) and a standard twin over twin. Both bunks in this room have stairs to climb to the top bunk, not a ladder. Bunkroom #2 can sleep up to 5 people. Message us to reserve additional rooms for additional people. The space We have been working hard to renovate the Happy Apples Bicycle Bunkhouse to make it an affordable, unique, communal bunkhouse for cyclist, hikers, and visitors to the Marthasville area. This listing is for bedroom #2 only which has two sets of bunk beds, a twin over double and a twin over twin, and can accommodate up to 5 people. The Happy Apples Bicycle Bunkhouse typically houses our season harvest crew during our orchards’ busy picking season, August-October. This year, a late freeze wiped out our crop, so we won’t need the bunkhouse for our harvest team. This year the bunkhouse will remain open through the fall, until it gets too cold. We do not have any heat at the bunkhouse at this time, so we will winterize it and close it up during the winter months. We have 4 bedrooms, each with 4-5 beds. The Bunkhouse has 22 beds total and sleeps up to 22 guests. There are two shared kitchens and two shared bathrooms, one regular bathroom and one with two shower stalls and two toilet stalls. There is a large level yard with a covered area for outdoor dining, a fire pit, a propane grill and plenty of open space for games or to pitch a tent. Each room has a window air-conditioning unit. There is currently no heat in the house and very little demand for vacation rentals in the winter months, so we will be winterizing the house and shutting down during winter months. Guest access Gusts will have access to their rented room and all the shared spaces of the house and yard. During your stay We live off site and work up the hill at the Happy Apples Orchard. You will check yourself in with a keyless entry code provided a couple days before your arrival. We are available if you need anything through text or call. You will get our cell numbers after you book your stay. We are happy to consider any “extras” that you may need help with during or before your stay.
