The space The apartment could be easily reached taking the elevator in the underground car park. Climbing any stairs is not necessary. The use of the parking space in the underground car park is free of charge. Once through the apartment door, you will be welcomed by the main livingroom that enchants with a spacious and bright living and dining area. The whole apartment is furnished in a modern style with a rustic touch, radiating simple elegance. The large windows let in the rooms’ lots of light and nature. The kitchen and bathroom meet all modern requirements. In the kitchen you could easily prepare your meals. High-quality ceramic stove, steamer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge and freezer, as well as a basic set of dishwasher tabs, coffee capsules, washing-up liquid, garbage bags and spices are available. A raclette and fondue set are included. The two bedrooms are furnished with double beds and all needed storage space. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. The terrace can be reached through out the living room/bedroom. It is the perfect place to enjoy the mountain panorama and the warm sun rays. The whole apartment has under floor heating. A flat-screen TV, including Netflix, Apple TV, Zattoo, and numerous community games are there for your entertainment. Free WiFi completes the whole offer. Guest access The whole apartment and the terrace are at your disposal. Other things to note The municipality of Kandersteg charges tourist taxes for guests staying in hotels and apartments. The tax will be charged separately. Paying the tourist tax will get you in possession of a guest card with which you can enjoy numerous discounts. Applicable tourist tax amounts: - until the end of 2022, the municipality charges 4 CHF per adult and night, as well as 2 CHF per child (between 6-16 years old) and night. - from the beginning of 2023, the municipality will charge CHF 4.6 per adult and night, and CHF 2.5 per child (between 6-16 years old) and night. Despite paying a cleaning fee of CHF 200, you'll be asked to leave the apartment at check-out in a tidy condition and recycle your garbage.
