B&B's are sometimes offering small rooms with none or minimal cooking-facilities. You will miss your own private living-room. Holiday-Houses are often to get only on a weekly base. They are sometimes too big and you can land "in the middle of nowhere with no reception. We try to make things a little bit better for you. Only every use of the washing-machine (incl.washing-powder) and the tumble-dryer costs € 5 extra. We speak English, Deutsch, Russian and some French. You will find a Dream Destination in West Cork. Surrounded by roses, palm-trees and a very old olive-tree sits this formal Garden on 60.000m2 lawns and woodland. Popular and save sandy-beaches across the road, 500m from our gate. A natural pool is waiting for you. You will find a solar-driven shower as well as a huge sheltered circular sundeck, with chairs and tables. From there you have fantastic sea-views to some Carbery Islands, castles and the famous Fastnet Rock. But you have also your own private south-faced terrace (30m2). From there you'll enjoy nice sea-views, included the famous Fastnet Rock. Your luxury flat is part of a bigger house, but totally separate. The house is soundproof to the rest of the house. Of course you have your own entrance. The flat is always very warm. It is south-faced. There is a ventilation-system with heat-recovery in place. This system provides you with fresh filtered air all the time. Good to avoid allergies of any kind. Of course you can still open windows if you like. A Central-Hoover-System secures that there is no dust blown into the flat and avoids dust-allergies. The flat is always full of light and so bright. This alone, but together with the sea-views in particular, gives you only positive feelings. Wellness pure! Now let us go into your luxury flat. You reach the entrance over your terrace. Firstly you come to a small open landing, leading you right to your Living/Study, straight to the bedroom and left to the kitchen/dining. The kitchen has a homely living appearance and is not designed for "heavy cooking-sessions." But nevertheless the kitchen is fully equipped. You find a full-size fridge, oven/microwave, dishwasher. You will love to cook here. Herbs from our herb-garden are for free. We go into the Living-Room/Study with views over the ocean and Fastnet Rock. This room is in "Old World Style" all antic and with true paintings, sofa-bed (sleeping-size 140x200), romantic log-oven with glass-door and sufficient fire-wood. Great library (German, English and Russian). I feel that the books and guides about Ireland and UK alone are 2 meters of books. Sat-TV, DVD, CD, WiFi, Internet. Direct access to your terrace with table, chairs, sun lounger, parasol. The romantic bed-room, again with elements of the "Old World" and with true paintings, provides you with a double-bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200). The double-bed can be easily altered to two single-beds. Our beds are only from highest standards. En-suite is a large bathroom with toilet, sink and barrier-free shower (shower size 2 m2). You will find sufficient towels and extra-towels for pool and beach. The entrance-door is extra wide and fully wheelchair-friendly. The flat has inside absolutely no barriers. The beds are in extra heights. The Romantic Hideaway is luxury accommodation for 2 and good enough for 4. 5 would find place to sleep. If you are coming only for a short time and you have a lot of outdoor-action like sailing, biking or walking, this may be ok. Then you will be able to feel the magic of this place. We will service you as much as we can, no limits, but only as much as you like! We will answer your questions as good as we can, that your holiday-dreams become true. Please, children only if they are good swimmers. !! DEEP POND!! The pond have natural water, steps to go into the water but no safe-guard on duty. Transports: - Bus Eireann (237) runs 2x daily from and to Cork, (265) runs from and to Skibbeeren and the Mizenhead. Both buses stop at our gate. - Taxi nearby. - Bikes can be rented. - Ferry-Boat from Schull to Cape Clear Island (summer only) Other things to note we have a dog and two cats.
