Very clean, fully furnished cottage on a quiet cove on beautiful Pleasant Pond in Turner Maine. Charming cottage offers guests a great vacation experience. Cottage has a covered deck, fire pit, firewood, picnic tables, gas grill, TV, DVD player, DVD's, games, heat pump, wifi, books, shared waterfront area, dock, raft, kayaks & paddles. Lake offers fishing, swimming, boating. kayaking. Walking distance to Turner Highland Golf Course. Leave the stress of life behind. Rest, relax, play and enjoy The space The cottage sits on nearly 2 acres of land along with one other cottage. Both cottages share a waterfront area, dock, swim raft, kayaks, paddleboards and life jackets. There is a sandbox, kiddie pool and schoolhouse for the younger guests. The cottage is within three to five miles of two convenience stores that sell gas, groceries and take-out food. Another mile or two will bring you to Turner's Hannaford grocery store. Lewiston, Auburn, Freeport, Augusta, Farmington, Bethel and Brunswick are within an hour's drive for shopping and recreational activities. Other things to note The cottage is rented by the week (7 days) Sunday to Sunday from June 21 to Labor Day. Shorter stays are allowed before and after these dates. We are still working on the swimming area so you may want to bring water shoes.
