Welcome to the Cactus House, our Charming bungalow in the heart of Venice beach. Take a 5 min walk to Abbot Kinney or Rose Avenue to enjoy the most vibrants streets in the neighborhood. The house has 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a spacious open living room with a kitchen and a dining room. The back patio includes a fire pit, a sauna and a barbecue. Please note that as this is our primary home, some storage space is reserved for personal use. NO PARTIES! NO PETS! A charming Venice Beach bungalow Our home is a classic Venice Beach–style bungalow built in 1929. While parts of it have been renovated, it still has the soul, quirks, and charm of a true beach home. If you love character, warmth, and a relaxed coastal vibe, you’ll feel right at home here. If you’re looking for a brand-new, ultra-luxury property where everything feels perfectly polished, this likely won’t be the right match. A lived-in, loved home This is where we live. We put a lot of care into preparing the space so our guests feel comfortable and welcome, but some storage areas are kept closed for private use. You’ll also notice personal touches: French books, family photos, and decor that reflect our life here. Many guests enjoy this and say it makes the stay feel special and authentic. If you prefer a fully impersonal space that feels entirely your own, this may not be the best fit. Outdoor security cameras (privacy respected) We have outdoor security cameras only, used solely for theft prevention. During Airbnb stays, privacy zones are enabled so your privacy is respected at all times. The cameras are still visible on the exterior of the property, and if this makes you uncomfortable, we kindly recommend choosing another listing. We share our home with care and love, and we’re happiest hosting guests who appreciate its character and understand it’s a real, lived-in space.
