The space The newly constructed home, designed by Lars Langberg blends stunning modern designs and those inspired by the classic Sonoma bungalow. High vaulted ceilings, Italian modern lighting, and open floor plans create intriguing and comfortable living-spaces. Eco-sustainable features—solar power, LED lights, zonal heating & cooling, add an exciting and timely dimension to the home. The living room with modern decor and art by Marin artist Justyna Wilmore has ample seating for groups to play games around the table, or enjoy shows on the floating flat screen TV. A sparkling and spacious chef's kitchen offers: a professional quality Bertazzoni range & speed oven, an island bar with plug-ins for laptops, and dining table that can seat 8. A wall of doors open the kitchen to the deck pool and views of the beautiful garden. Two of the bedrooms open to decks overlooking the backyard and creek. The loft has large windows offering a lush tree house view. This room has a single beds that can change to a king upon request. It has a wide opening overlooking the living room that can be completely closed off with a soundproofing curtain. The curtain dampens sound but is not like a wall. There are two full baths with Italian tiles and appointed with modern high quality fixtures, bath and showers. BBQ and dine on the expansive deck, or relax on the comfortable chairs and sofas. The deck also offers a spa pool it can be cool in summer or it can be a large spa with jets for massage and is deep enough for swimming against the jet current) It is very luxurious with a bar table and stools on one side and mood lights. Look at the night sky and listen to the flowing creek as you soak and enjoy a water jet massage. The Italian tiled pergola and pebbled beach in the lower garden have comfortable lounge furnishings. Under the pergola a hammock is ready to lull you into a siesta. Lounge chairs sitting at the end of the property offer views of the peaceful flowing creek , wandering deer and exotic birds in the expansive tree canopy. Other things to note Children under the age 10 are not permitted because of safety issues with the spa pool. The pool is flush with the deck and when covers are removed can be a danger to children. Please park under the carport or next to the stone wall in front of the house. City policy dictates that renters can not park in front of neighbors homes so if you need more than the three spaces by the house please park in the public parking facing the creek across from the church on O'Donnell lane. The other important city policy is a request for noise control when outside after 8pm. Guest may be out enjoying the decks and in the back garden as late as they like but please lower voices after 8 pm. Electronic music is not permitted at any time outside the home.
