Quick walk to world famous “the Spot” burgers but really, it’s all about the beach, it’s like so close! Walking trails in the wetlands are close too, the kids love exploring there. Carp’s got some cool restaurants too, our favorite is Teddy’s by the Sea. Partly because our dog is named Teddy but food’s pretty good too! The space Cozy and quiet 1 bedroom unit. Large King size bed with Mountain view from window. Full size kitchen with tv in living room. Located on 2nd floor so your won’t hear footsteps from above. With that being said, please be mindful of neighbors downstairs, they are an elderly couple who live on site year round. NOTE: Some guests have complained there isn’t an HVAC system. The building is over 70 years old and there wasn’t a need for AC back then. None of the units have AC. I have purchased 2 portable AC units and they work pretty well but they aren’t the same as standard air conditioning. In addition, there are ceiling fans in each room and box fans also available. For colder nights there are 2 portable floor heaters as well. I just want to make sure you’re aware the entire building doesn’t have HVAC system in any unit, it’s not just mine. Other things to note Front door has a keypad for entry. There is parking around the back and you’ll need a parking key card which will be on kitchen counter.
