Swallow Byre

Swallow Byre is situated 7 miles from Lochinver, not far from some of the loveliest beaches in Assynt. Driving on the A837, just before Lochinver take the B869 single track road on the right and, after about 6 miles, going through the hamlet of Stoer, take the left hand turn by the sign for Stoer Lighthouse (but turn sharp left again before the Primary School, by the small red letterbox). Reaching a cattle grid, don't go over this, because, on the left is the gate to 176 Boulla &Swallow Byre. The space Whatever the weather, Swallow Byre is a cozy space to explore the area and return to warmth, woodstove and wetroom. A space to relax, walk, or just gaze at the stars. Guest access The single bedroom has a kingsize bed and there is a sofa bed available in the living room area. Other things to note Car parking space for 2 cars. Accessible to Lochinver by occasional bus, and a telephone number for taxi can be requested.
