This newly updated family cottage at Urquharts Bay is perfectly located to take full advantage of everything that stunning Whangarei Heads has to offer. Swimming in the bay or at nearby Ocean Beach; fishing from your boat or the fishing jetty; kayaking in the bay, with scenic walks and longer tramps right at your front door. The entire living space and main bedrooms have stunning views of Urquharts Bay. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful beach cottage retreat. The space Kelly’s Cottage is one of the original baches at Urquharts Bay. Fully self-contained with 2 bedrooms; main bedroom with a queen-sized bed and awesome view of the bay, the second has two single bunk beds (most suited to children/teenagers, but comfortable for adults too). The Kelly Suite is a separate detached cabin (third bedroom) with queen-sized bed, adjacent toilet and vanity bathroom with separate shower room. A large deck, outdoor bath, outdoor seating and lovely sea views completes this hidden private retreat. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and large double door fridge with freezer below. A BBQ is located at the back porch. Off the kitchen is a full sized bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity, laundry tub and washing machine. TV and WIFI available. A baby cot (jolly jumper) & highchair also available on request. Private outdoor bath, instant hot & cold water at the turn of the taps. With second shower room close to outdoor bath. Two kayaks (with trundle wheels) are available on site with a selection of life jackets. Other things to note Wood burning fireplace & heat pump for cooler days. And a gorgeous old fashioned outdoor bath on the deck outside the sleepout. We also have a boat mooring available upon request in Urquharts Bay (directly in front of the cottage).
