Welcome to Meadow's Whisper. From the patio, relax under the covered pergola. The air is full and fresh. To your left, you see Bald Rock, reminiscent of Yosemite Valley’s stunning granite crests, while directly in front, pine covers the ridge line like a cozy blanket. Listen to the whisper of the breeze running through the trees, and smell pine and honeysuckle. Indoors, cook in a fully stocked kitchen and enjoy game nights in this 3BR/2 Bath home. And only an hour away is Yosemite National Park. The space Our space provides all the comforts of a modern home and includes 3 bedrooms (two queens and a king), two bathrooms, and an office with a desk and full-sized futon. The home features an open floor plan and a large outdoor area with a patio and backyard to enjoy. Outdoor Patio Outside, relax under the covered pergola on the long patio that faces our backyard meadow and the pine and oak-covered mountains. Enjoy a cup of coffee as the sun rises over the ridgeline or, in the evening, enjoy a meal in the golden hour as the sun casts its warm rays on the mountains in front of you. Catch a glimpse of the ground squirrels, turkeys, and deer that graze and pass through the meadow. At night, hop in the 6-person hot tub and relax under the stars. Here are the amenities and features of our outdoor area: 1. Large, paved outdoor patio; 2. Covered pergola with table and six chairs; 3. Large, open backyard (not fenced so as to allow wildlife to pass); 4. Six-person hot tub. Kitchen & Dining Area Inside, cook in our fully-stocked kitchen and eat at the large dining room table, which seats up to 8 people. Our kitchen has the following appliances and amenities: 1. Stainless steel gas stove, microwave, and oven; 2. Ninja blender; 3. Instant Pot; 4. A toaster oven; 5. Gooseneck hot water kettle with precise temperature settings; 6. Aeropress, French Press, and drip/espresso coffee makers; 7. Flavored syrups; 8. Coffee (bean) mill; 9. Nonstick cookware; 10. Dishwasher; 11. Refrigerator and freezer. The kitchen also has both ceramic and plastic plates, and glass and plastic cups. There is also a booster seat for your little one so they can enjoy eating at the table with the family. Living Room Cuddle up with a blanket and relax and unwind on our cozy couches in the living room, where you can chat and enjoy the large windows and natural lighting. Or turn on the 65” 4K Smart TV, which includes Netflix and Disney+ streaming services, and watch a movie or show. We also have a growing selection of board games and card games: 1. Ticket to Ride; 2. Standard card deck. Bay Window Reading Area Nestled away from the living room is a bay window area with two cushioned chairs where you can cozy up with a book and catch up on some reading. Sleeping Arrangements We believe sleep is important and we strive to provide a restful home to allow you to get the rest you need after a long day of travel, hiking, or recreation. All beds feature premium linens (with more blankets/comforters available) and the bedrooms have blackout curtains to keep rooms nice and dark. Here are the arrangements: 1. Master bedroom: king size bed, en suite bathroom, access to outdoor patio/hot tub. 2. Back Bedroom: queen size bed 3. Side Bedroom: queen size bed 4. Office: full size futon + Queen size air mattress + Pack and play (with optional bassinet and sound machine attachments). Each bed is dressed with soft linens, a cozy quilt, and an extra comforter during those chilly months. Make yourself at home and unpack your clothes in the dressers and/closet. Each bedroom comes with reading lamps on each nightstand and blackout curtains for each window. Also available is a queen size mattress as well as a pack and play (with an optional bassinet attachment as well) for the littlest traveler. Office In case you need a space to do some work, the office space provides high speed internet, a chair and desk with pens, post its, and a task lamp. If you need a more comfy place to work, there is a stylish couch (surprise–it's a full size futon) with a USB charging port. Bathrooms There are two full bathrooms equipped with fresh towels (including hand and makeup towels), basic toiletries, and a hair dryer. 1. Master bathroom: Large tub/shower, double vanity with two sinks, faucets, and mirrors, fresh towels and basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and hair dryer. 2. Bathroom: Bathtub with shower, fresh towels and basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and hair dryer. We are always available to answer any questions and to be a resource for you in your travels. Laundry Machine and Dryer Guests have access to use our laundry machine and dryer as needed. Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and a laundry basket are provided for ease of use. Other things to note Pets We welcome pets in our home and have a dog bed and food and water bowls available for your best friend. We also have resources for dog-friendly hiking in the area. Inquire and/or consult our guides once you book! No Smoking Smoking is not allowed anywhere indoors; failure to adhere to this rule will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees. No Parties or Events In accordance with Airbnb policy and in respect of our community, we prohibit parties or events at our home. No Fireworks Under no circumstances will fireworks be tolerated at our home, which is located in a high fire risk area.
