You can walk to the village shops, bakery, bars, restaurants, clothing and home decor stores, pharmacy, and a grocery store. The beaches and coves of Beg-Meil can also be reached on foot, with a boat departing for the Glénan Archipelago from the Beg-Meil quay; paddleboards and kayaks can be rented there. Cap-Coz Beach, a family-friendly resort lined with pine trees and offering a wide range of on-site amenities, is a 5-minute drive away. Bénodet and its casino are less than a 15-minute drive away. Concarneau for a tour of the walled city, about 15 minutes away. Quimper, its pedestrian streets and its Cathedral 20 minutes away.
