Walking distance to the farmers market, river walkway, beach, city centre, mountain biking tracks and restaurants. This an old character house with homely feel in a prestige area. Great for your next weekend getaway or work trip. The residents of the house are going away and want to share their beautiful home. The space This is a tasteful restored 3 bedroom house catering for up 8 guests (if two guest are happy with the 2 comfortable couches). In close proximity to the river, beach and local amenities. The location is a 2 minute walk to the river which then leads to the beach in a short 15 minutes (or less) or a 10 minute walk to the shops. This 3 bedroom house has: Bedroom 1: 1 x King Bed (2 guests) Bedroom 2: 2 x King Single Beds (2 guests) Bedroom 3: 1 x Queen Bed (2 guests) Lounge Room – 3 seater couch and 2 seater couch. No Air-Conditioning The ceilings are high and provide excellent airflow through the house, there is a fan in the main bedroom and the French doors in the lounge open to enjoy the breeze and outdoor living. Parking The house has parking down the driveway for approx. 2-3 cars, there further parking is available on the street. Access The keys can be gained through an on-site lock box. The code and location for this will be sent to you on the day of your visit. This is a renovated, clean home for you to enjoy: - 1 bathroom with toilet, shower. - Separate toilet - 1 lounge room -1 Dinning room with table for 6 guests - well equipped kitchen – has a dishwasher - laundry with washing machine & dryer This is a lovely property, in a great location, that allows you all to spend time together, or to use it as your base for the beach, or further afield on the coast. Kitchen The kitchen has been updated and is well equipped. This includes fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and all other items that you may need. Linen We supply all linen, sheets, towels, bathmats, tea towels, hand towels etc. There is extra linen in the cupboards for the cleaners, if you need to use this please wash your dirty linen or if you like you can pay an extra linen charge. Consumables Basic consumable items are provided for your assistance as a starter for your visit with us. Eg: coffee, tea bags for each guest, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner & bodywash & dishwashing liquid, these are provided for short stay (1-2 days). Any additional items you require will need to be purchased by you Laundry The laundry has a washing machine and there is a dryer Pet Friendly This is a pet friendly and you are welcome to bring your dog (10kgs or less). Please note the yard is fully fenced but you must ensure it does not escape. You are expected to clean up after your pet please and you must notify us that you are bringing your pet on booking our place we do not welcome puppies or unhouse trained pets. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, cushions or bedding. Internet We have free high speed internet access for you to use and enjoy. The details for this will be sent to you on your booking day or you can access them through airbnb. Don't just admire this lovely property from your lounge room or office, come and stay and create lifelong memories here. Book and stay and enjoy living like a local Guest access Guests have sole and exclusive use of the house, yard and driveway. There is a garage not for public use, which is joined and to the side of the house and may be accessed by maintenance/cleaning staff on some occasions. We have a lawnmower man that may need to come around to the house and mow the lawns if you are staying for a long stay or during peak seasons when grass grows quickly. Other things to note R&V guests are welcome (this property has been booked though), but we require a bond and rule requirements signed. We are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, we do not accept check-ins or check outs on these days so you will need to book an extra day if you would like to book over these periods. Our Staff are very important to us, without them we wouldn’t be running, we ask that you please treat them with respect (this includes how you leave the property).
