A unique motel/cabin property with beautiful timber frame pavilion and firepit for guests' use. Located only 1 mile from downtown Saranac Lake, 8 miles to Lake Placid, and only 0.3 miles to the Adirondack Rail Trail. The space This is a newly renovated property with the adventure traveler in mind. Whether seeking out museums, arts & cultural events, or the many recreational opportunities the Adirondacks offer, we hope this is the perfect base for your travels. Our goal was to create a space and features that we appreciate when traveling. Unique rooms with clean, simple lines, glassware and mugs, coffee-tea-cocoa with real half and half, and towel warmers! The sink is located in the room itself, with shower and toilet in ensuite bathroom, making it easier for multiple users. Rooms 4 and 5 are offer an optional adjoining configuration, and the two cabins in the rear of the property adjoin the fire pit area. Please note that we are a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed. Guest access Access to information/services room, which is on the front porch of the private house on-site. with ice, water, microwave, travel information, and local tips available. Small private park along the road adjoins, as well as pond frontage. There is also a fire pit in the back yard, with lawn games available. Other things to note Every room has a PRIVATE bathroom with shower and towel heater. Also a mini fridge and hot water kettle with coffee/tea/cocoa and creamers provided. We are a non-smoking property, and pets are not allowed. Fire pit common area is in the rear of the property, near our beautiful timber frame pavilion for guests use, with seating, bbq grill, etc, along with lawn games. Quiet time is between 10pm-7am.
