Situated in Charlotte's most charming Uptown neighborhood, Cityscape Studio in Historic 4th Ward is a 2nd floor apartment with a huge deck that offers stunning skyline views, amenities, and a 1:00 p.m. checkout. The abundant natural light, spa bathroom, and petite kitchen are designed to impress as will the super-fast WiFi & premium entertainment. This property is stylish, clean, safe, & lovingly hosted by the on-site homeowner. @fourthwardmanor The space This is a new space that has been 20 years in the making, informed by your host's global travels in some of the world's best hotels and vacation spots. Every detail, and there are many, has been lovingly chosen or designed. The first thing you'll notice is the home's unique architecture and lighting design, not to mention its sublime location amidst the neighborhood's many Victorians. Traveling up the deck stairs to your perfect perch, you'll be impressed by the 270-degree views of Uptown Charlotte as well as the historic trees that the neighborhood treasures. Entering The Cityscape Studio through the 4-panel French doors, you'll be greeted by a soothing yet artistic decor that immediately envelops you in its warm embrace. On each side of the king bed, you'll find an open wardrobe and reading lights. High-end mattress and luxurious linens will ease you into sleep after you take a tranquil bath in the super-sized tub (with city views!) or a relaxing shower offering waterfall shower head, full-body jets, and handheld sprayer options. Enjoy the tabletop electric fireplace! In case you'd rather dine in than at one of Uptown Charlotte's fabulous restaurants, the petite kitchen is equipped with a petite refrigerator/freezer, microwave, espresso maker, pour-over coffee maker, a toaster, an electric kettle an induction cooktop, various spices and oils, and - when available - a handful of complimentary beverages and snacks. A portable desk means you can work inside or out on the deck, which offers conversation seating, a monstrous lighted umbrella, and Charlotte cityscape's best views! Although The Cityscape Studio does not offer a fenced yard for your furry friends, there's a large park just across the street and a dog park a mere block and a half away! PARKING IN FOURTH WARD: Controlled by the City of Charlotte, guest parking in Fourth Ward is on-street only and - when parking is needed for more than 2 hours - requires the purchase of a parking permit which a resident (your host) must do you on your behalf. The permits are $18 per vehicle per day. Please note that permits are only available to neighborhood residents and their guests; there is always an open space nearby! Guest access The Cityscape Studio offers self check-in. Featuring a huge studio bedroom, spa bathroom, and enormous 2nd floor deck, the space is all yours! Just please be mindful that your host's family resides just beyond your interior door and that neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced. Finally, visitors are not permitted without express authorization from your host. Other things to note PRE-ARRIVAL PARKING GUIDE: If you're traveling with a vehicle you should be aware that, as a city, parking in Charlotte can be a challenge. Aside from the nearby for-fee parking garages, the city controls parking in the Fourth Ward neighborhood, which is on-street only, and - after a 2-hour grace period - is restricted to neighborhood residents and their guests at varying hours depending on the day of the week. As a courtesy to my guests, I offer to purchase a resident guest parking permit for $18 per vehicle per day (a 24-hour period from 12:00am-11:59pm) as long as you send the required information (license plate number and state and car make not model) at least 24 hours before arrival; after then, we can't guarantee that we'll be able to get the permit. Please note that the home's driveway is not available to guests. It is for the exclusive use of the homeowner, family, and staff. PETS There is a non-refundable fee of $50 for each pet (except registered service animals as required by law). Please note that your rate does not include these additional fees, and that I will follow up with a payment request. For safety and insurance purposes, you are required to disclose whether any non-service animals will be on/in the property, and how many. AMENITIES: I provide starter supplies of coffee, assorted teas, cold filtered water, and many other items such as condiments, paper products, personal care products, and cleaning products. If you need anything more, please don't hesitate to ask. I keep a supply of things like toothbrushes, razors, and deodorant in case my guests forget to pack their own! AIRBNB EXPERIENCES: For security, insurance, and logistics reasons, this property does not participate in the Airbnb Experiences and Services program. Only the people on the reservation are permitted on the property.
